The night before her anniversary dinner with Faruk was a disaster, because he cared more about Ozgur than his wife! Sureyya actually waited for him for over an hour in the restaurant! The present he bought her was insulting,and looked like an afterthought! He probably sent Ozgur out to bye it for her! Faruk is getting more and more distant from Sureyya! She looked so beautiful and happy waiting for him,then he deliberately falls asleep! Wow, looks good on you Faruk!😊

This episode made me so angry, they treated Sureyya so disparagingly. Sureyya is the only one who takes care of Esma, she always tries to connect and bridge everyone - even when they put her in the most difficult situations, in the end, no matter what happens she is to blame.
Fikret has nerve control issues, Esma has obsession issues with her children's lives and Farouk has some paternal complexity - Sureyya so longs for a family and just absorbs all the shit from them in such a shameful way. It just hurts to see it. Poor Sureyya 😔

Kiymet hated Sureyya from the beginning,because Faruk married her instead of Ipek! Esma hates her for the same reason! The only sane person in that family is Sureyya! I’m surprised she didn’t go over the edge yet! She had a hard life before she met Faruk,but at least she was able to be herself! Faruk chased after her like crazy! None of this is Sureya fault, Furak acting just like Esma and Fikret. I'm happy that Ipek finally exploded on Fikret. She needs time to sort it all out in her mind. I feel sorry for Garip, he has a hard job trying to get Esma to see that she needs to calm down an let her sons handle their own problem. Ipeks breakdown is a result of her mother trying to twist things the way she wants them to be. This was an explosive episode.

It's very LOOSELY based on the life of singer Ülkü Üst (who was a singer in the band Beyaz Kelebekler - means "White Butterflies" in Turkish) and businessman Ali Sarpkan (they married in 1975). The storyline is completely made up beside the general idea that there was a singer who gave up her career to marry a businessman who came from a conservative Turkish family in Bursa. There were difficulties in the marriage but all these complex relationships are a work of fiction. They only say "based on a true story" for marketing purposes..
Sureyya didn’t say about the situation. She stayed out of it. Kyimet is the one that started the issues and Esma ran at Sureyya blaming her because Sureyya didn’t get involved.

The way Sureyya is treated is very horrible, when what she wants is to avoid problems in the family, the way Esma exploits and treats her is very inconsiderate. Farouk is also very distant with Sureyya, who is noticing his indifference, we'll see what will happen when Sureyya realizes Ozgur's intentions, I hope this situation is not a reason for distancing in their relationship
