I love the beginning of this with the sea washing over the rock pool plants. It made me think of a couple of small videos I made of the same kind of thing in Cyprus. The sea is so mesmerising.

Loved your favourite piece in Buddy Gaynor. Would love to see a larger version of that. I know what you mean about immersing yourself when looking in the rock pools. AHH, I love knitwear. During 'Lockdown' we walked a lot more than usual and decided to keep it up - it helps having a dog ! 🥰
I m absolutely adoring a very small and lightweight watercolor box that would be great for traveling. The name of it is Koi Water Colors Pocket Field Sketch Box by Sakura Color Products Corporation. It also includes a travel brush.

Hi Gardenia, thank you for your lovely comment. The medium is a gel gloss medium. It's been patiently waiting in amongst pots of this and that for ages !!
So the concertina with the ripped pages has a very nice start to it. Why don’t you just collage over the holes and add some layers to the white spots and just continue?? That is how you work anyway… Could be very interesting.
The blue concert Tina towards the end of the vid had some small rips . The white of the rips played very nicely against all the blue. Make it intentional! Add some more rips with the same kind of pattern or shape. That could be just one more of your marks. Why not? All the paper texture could add up to some very rich background texture. Just an opinion, but I would be happy to hear if you decide to try that and how it comes out.
I used to be very much interested in collage and layered papers during Art school. Now I mostly do watercolor with a bit of mixed media coming into play. Makes it interesting!

Do you have any words of wisdom of how to get over procrastination! Busy mum of two who has all good intentions of starting but somehow just put it off, am I not in love with art or am I just worried it will not be good enough? Or am I thinking of other things I need to do. Your work and channel is so inspiring keep giving us these wonderful vlogs.❤
Hello Petalflower 😊 Free time for a busy mum is Precious ! Find small bits of time, set the timer and play with warm up drawings. I think we all think worry about not being good enough, tell yourself that this is your time to mess about with art stuff and enjoy it ! Do the things you need to do but give yourself permission to enjoy your creativity 🥰
