Nice review! We've had the Tripltek monitors now since the 7 series. The 8Pro is really great, and the 9 Pro looks awesome too. The only issue I have seen with several of our 8Pro's is the damn thing rebooting on it's own while we are mid-flight. Not an every day thing, but we use ours daily and about every 3 to 4 days it will do this. Tripltek support said reinstall firmware. Still the same on at least 4 different 8Pro's we have and they reboot at random. Some guys will be filming a big RE job here and it just restarts. You never get an option window pop up either. It just shuts down the screen, restarts and you await the entire reboot 30 second Tripltek boot screen.. then the App restarts, then the whole "Device checking" Gimbal not Ready stuff as a normal boot of the drone app.. meanwhile the drone is in the air... annoying !!!
I upgraded my 8 to the 9 solely for the HDMI out…I use the Epson Moverio glasses on the M2P and the latency was ok, but finicky to connect…now, truly awesome flights!
Great info. Like you I’m a DJI with the RC pro. Tired of my Apple phones going dark. lol Great info and review. Sustainable brightness. Really like that. Excellent review bro.
Great info FAMILY,,,they do run a high dollar,, but it might be in someone's best interest to have one of those... I've been following them since they dropped the 8,,, haven't heard anything bad about them or reported problems so it's proved it's the top dog!!! With that extra 300 nits,, Definitely worth it!!!
I love my set up with the RC N1 and the Tripltek 8 pro combined with my Mavic 3. Now thinking about selling it all for the BIG Mavic 3 Pro and the Tripltek 9 pro. I still have a RC N1 from my Air 2s. Main reason being the big screen and brightness. I bought the 8 pro after Kens review almost 2 years ago and have not had any issues. So Ken, I'm diggin the 9 pro over the DJI RC Pro... any thoughts kind sir? and you and Kyle rocked the other night in the new badd ass studio!!! Thanks again for all you do for us in the drone community!!!
Checked it out last night when MATTY told us about it... Gonna need you to start printing stuff for us Camera Quad Flyers FAMILY---PLEASE..... Something ((ORIGINAL))
Great review, I got the 8pro when you came out with your mount cause it looked like it would work for both DJI and Autel. Because of that functionality, I had no justification to get the RC for DJI (even though it's tempting)...Looks like I'll just upgrade to the 9 and transfer the Sim card (T-mobile) haven't had any issues with it running in the 8pro
Been watching your show since the pandemic. Great stuff! Finally replaced my Evo 2 Pro with a Mavic 3 and wow! Glad I did. After a couple of years resisting, I'm glad finally did. Like you, I'll need an Autel handy. You think the nano is too big of a drop off from the Mavic 3? or should I just spring a few more $$ for the Lite?
I just got mine and had it for two weeks. It would be a great unit if it worked properly. I can't get it to connect via OTG to any peripheral usb devices. I tried using it to control my Canon D60 via USB.. worked at first then it stopped. Did a factory reset on the system, after the OTG USB worked again at first then not. I have now done a second Factory reset. Can't get this thing to work via OTG USB on anything....not a storage device, not a USB mic or audio interface, or camera. This thing is going back...too bad clearly there is something defective...my cheap old Samsung Galaxy A7 tab and my even cheaper A11 phone work with all the devices I mentioned.
@@AerialImg After lots of back and forth with the tech support people, who just like all tech support tried to blame my problems on my cables and my own equipment. I ended up sending it back and telling them to send me a new one which they did. Turns out I was right, they admitted the one they first sent was defective. Plus the first one they sent wouldn't hold a charge... a real lemon. The new one came with a very fine scratch on the screen.
It’s a tough call on the EVO ii airframe is now 3 years old. They also have revised it 3 times and each time the previous has lost some facet of support
Does the device support RTMP for broadcasting over the sim to RUclips for example? Thanx in advance. I am considering using buying the Yololiv to do this but would be interested in this device if it does that.
@@OriginaldoBo So I bought this for the Skydio as it's enterprise controller is $4,000 USD and is the best option to not use an apple product in the sun light. Thatnks for the review. It was very helpful.
1:39 A very bad tablet with only 800x1280 resolution, claims it is a 2560 by 1600 pixels display. Four times smaller. You can notice it if you do a screenshot and look at the image info.
In regards to HDMI in , Tripltek states you can accept HDMI in through the USB C port which is fantastic if you want to use with a camera.
You mean that it could be used as an external monitor even on pc or mac throught usb c ?
You can use a USB-C HDMI capture dongle to use the device like a screen.
Love my Tripltek 8Pro and now I'm drooling over the 9 Pro. Another informative video.. thanks Ken!
I have the T8 and love it. The T9 is tempting. Think I will skip this one. Hopfully we get a T10 with both HDMI in/out
Good review Ken. Very nice tablet for bright day shooting and the 4k screen is nice for showing your clients a preview of the shoot
Love my 8 Pro . I use it for my lite plus/ air 2 s. I'm a casual user so I have no need to upgrade but highly recommend this Tablet.

@@thelongarmmarine Thanks again!
I’ve never owned a Tripltek, it seems very impressive. Thanks for sharing.
Screen brightness always amazed me on these, but for DJI drones like you said not sure if you need this.
Hello Ken. Would you recommend using this tablet with the DJI RC-N1 controller? I also fly with the RC pro and DJI RC.
You can use it with the RC N1 that’s what we use to

Looks awesome, but $1,200 is just a bridge too far for me. I would only need it for a drone I don't really use that much.
thanks this solves my problem from a dark I phone.....

Go lite, the nano honestly is a problem plagued drone in my opinion
@@OriginaldoBo Thank you!
hi,
thanks for your quality vids !
You said there's "no latency" but... @10"25 we see quite a half second latency
Haven’t seen any latency other than what the Autel transmission system generates
Hello! What expected on Tripltek 10 pro?
Good review again Ken

Is it upgradeable to Android 14 or at least to 13 ?
I have been thinking of picking up an evo 2 in the future, opinion?

Will this run Dji go, go4 , and Fly.
Any help needed 👍🏻
Yes

This is a tablet first and foremost so you can do anything with it that you couldn’t with anything else
