So it is normal for the JBL Boombox 2 to have an air leak?
Very hard, and also difficult because they are slippery. That's why i had the silicone mat underneath. That help. You need something like a rubber or silicone mat, if it doesn't twist!

I did not figure out the exact measurements but was able to find an old adapter with the same size and just did a bit of cutting/soldering to splice the Boombox 2 power adapter with the working connector. Dealing with warranty process would have been a hassle. Thanks!

My bluetooth connection on my boombox 2 only works in very short range. It starts to stutter if I walk away 1 meter or if I put the device between the boombox and myself. Any idea why? It should have very good range. I even tried in an open field with no frequency interference, also tried pairing other devices and the same problem happens.
There's so much space in there.. surely they could've fit a bigger battery in there.. at least 15000 mAh so it lasts me the whole night at max volume.. right now it dies 1-2 hours too early, so i have to listen at 70-80% which isn't as loud when you're outside with many people :(
I’ve had the boombox 2 for over a month now and I use it frequently. I use it about 3-4 times a week for an hour and a half at a time at 50% volume. I don’t have to charge it until after a couple weeks. I used it for about 4 hours a few days ago and it still had mostly full battery. They advertise 24 hour battery at 50% volume, and I do believe it’s true
On a full charge @ full volume, the Boombox 2 will run for about 6 hours. I use mine on my UTV every weekend. We ride longer than 6hrs, so I had to install a 120vac power inverter to keep the JBL charged.
it's sad that those speakers dont have neoydium magnets for how expensive the speaker is, it would increase internal volume, maybe would get extra bass lol and sound clarity in the mids
How much more volume is needed or necessary? I did a side by side comparison of the boombox 2 against the UE hyperboom. And the JBL is much much louder. And, the JBL remains clear at 80% volume which is much louder than the UE hyperboom's full volume! I really believe that JBL created the perfect boombox here.

Third, the woofers already have much power and a high excursion, neodym magnets wouldn't make any difference. Look at the Xtreme 2 and Xtreme 3, the Xtreme 3 has neodym magnets and there isn't any difference in bass

Ok for everyone trying to open the flap all you do is just a get a card any flat card like a debit card put it on the top flap and put tape around your four fingers including your dumb to hold the flaps hold the speaker around your legs and grab the two flaps and twist it left has hard has you can and it will twist

Very hard, and also difficult because they are slippery. That's why i had the silicone mat underneath. That help. You need something like a rubber or silicone mat, if it doesn't twist!

BB2 HAVE BATTERY IS 18650 IS MORE DURABLE. And BB1 HAVE ION POLYMER BATTERY.

Yes, hard to twist. I did it on the silicone mat, press down and twist. I hard the first time, then it gets easier.
