- Hey guys! My family from Korea came to visit the Philippines! As you know my direct family members including me, my parents and my sister are based here in the Philippines; so the new faces from this vlog include my lola, tita, uncle and my cousin Harry!
As you can see this is a very casual vlog I'm posting in a while so I'm not sure how you'll enjoy it, but I hope you do! 😁 Two more mini-vlogs shot with my family is coming so please stay tuned! 💕

*I definitely understand what you mean, Jessica.* As much as I am happy so many foreigners are enjoying the Philippines, it's making me realize now that the significant boost of tourism in the last 5-6 years will now impact the natural beauty and the hidden gems that the Philippines once had across the country. It was exciting to see everyone coming to enjoy it but seeing all those tourists while you were going into rhe secret lagoon and also all the boats and line ups in all the islands across the country are now becoming overwhelming. Even the corals are dying. The Philippines' economy is not the greatest and tourism definitely helps put food on the table for some of the local people but it does come with a price. I wish there would be a perfect balance 😕

ang cute ni Harry, smiling face, adventurous too. I have a feeling that he is culturally aware and would probably easily adjusted to Philippines given a chance for him to stay here for a long time.
Anybody who enjoys and loves our culture, food, and our country gives me new insight into what I have missed or have ignored. It makes me happy people are enjoying the Philippines.

It’s so embarrassing how we’ve normalized flight delays in this country
Hindi naman sa ninonormalized pero nakataya rin kasi ang maraming buhay sa pilot lalo na kung pangit ang panahon both landing ports (not only thunderstorms ang kalaban kundi pati galaw ng hangin sa radar) at kailangan rin ng maintenance niyan every flight ng planes lalo na kung salitan yung 2-3 planes everyday. Hindi rin talaga yan maiwasan mapa Air, Land, and Sea transpo sa buong mundo. Yung embarrassing lang minsan ay ang way nang pag handle ng mga ground staff sa queries and accommodations ng delayed pax nung flight.
Other countries experience delays, too. In the west it's sometimes even worse than Ph
@@chillaxing00it is normalized, everyone expects a delay already, the “dangerous situations ur talking abt” is more like the staffs/pilot in charge of making air travel possible is just not being that concerned with delivery. People say it’s normalized yet u think there’s an utmost need for our airlines to delay most of their flights.

El Nido is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, it's like a magical place. But I don't think I can go back there dahil sa layo at haba ng byahe. Sobrang nakakapagod! Ang kaya ko lang ay ticket naia to puerto princesa and to get to el nido you have to travel 4-5 hrs via van which is like riding a roller coaster. May kamahalan swift airline direct to el nido. I hope in God's blessing I can return to the very beautiful el nido. And I hope it's not too commercialized yet.
most Filipinos can only travel for tourism once in their lifetime.
I respect foreigners that respects other’s culture and actually enjoy being there. Jessica and her family are one of them.

one of the best places in the Philippines. been there three times, 2011, 2016, and 2023 and as beautiful as it still is the rapid development and maybe over tourism is chipping away at the magic of the place. Still, a great vacation destination and hopefully more effort is put into the conservation of its natural beauty

Whoa we flew into Porto Princessa and drove 6 hours to El Nido. I didn't know they had an airport in El Nido! Boo! Loved Palawan, our boat guides cooked our food on the boat and I even bought ice cream from a guy selling from HIS boat.
Love your family! Nothing better than spending time with them and bonding together. Everyone looked so happy. ❤❤❤❤

The flight in the Philippines became worse nowadays because of the traffic flow in the air became double or even triple, but it's better than before because they made additional new airport in certain areas particular in El Nido, Pampanga, and some other parts of the country.
I have never been to Coron all my life. I envy you and your family. Please enjoy our country.
