I’m also from the Trahan family in Lake Charles. We didn’t know JJ but we knew of him when he was born. We have all been waiting for the end of this nightmare . It’s too bad that Alex isn’t facing his crimes in a court of law but we have a feeling that he is facing much harsher punishment now

I love that Kay has no use for Chad’s lawyer and doesn’t let him get away with anything.
She may be an Angel but she had an opportunity to save those kids and she waited too long. After Charles was killed, I would have called Lori and offered her the entire amount of the insurance policy in exchange for JJ. Kay never did that. She said that she would have given Lori all the money for the kids but she never made the offer. Lori would have jumped at that….come ON. This is what it’s all about…..money. Of course Lori would have handed over JJ if only Kay would have made that offer. Kay tried to get him back and keep the money too. That was never going to happen due to Charles cutting her out of the insurance. Kay should have just given her the money and for the kids.

He can't handle direct communication with women. This is the loser who had to invoke supposed messages from dead grandparents instead of telling his wife what he felt was inappropriate about her playing a harmless Facebook game, or saying her ignoring him was upsetting him during an argument over text with Lori.
Charles spirit guided JJ’s wonderful grandmother to find the answers. She had money to hire PI’s due to his leaving money to her. I could only imagine Lori throwing paperwork across the room finding out she wasn’t getting crap!
To find that they used his Amazon acct to buy clothes for Hawaii b4 Chads wife’s passing is chilling!

Yes it would’ve taken so much longer to figure out where Tylee and JJ had gone, people would’ve continued to believe Lori’s lies. And I think more people would’ve died, possibly Colby and his wife & child, they were already deemed dark he said. I heard one of Chads sons was on the dark list too, and Lori’s niece Melani’s children were probably going to be at risk too. The Woodcocks probably saved many lives.
Every objection the defense makes against the powerful and credible statements of Kay Woodcock, only undermines their own case. Kay's testimony is rock solid.
This judge constantly overrules his objections. Because, they are lame and/or argumentative. I would love to see a tally of sustained v overruled for that side. Pryor’s demeanor off-putting

The jury heard what Kay said in spite of defense objections. Somebody searched for tropical cothing & malachite wedding rings on Oct 2 before Tammy Daybell's murder & items were charged to Lori's dead husband's credit card. While Kay had access to card, Lori & Charles were photographed wearing the clothes & rings in Hawaii. Prettysure it shows motive. Killing the kids when famiy would have taken them goes to vindictiveness, control & sense of superiority. Killing Tammy benefited Charles. Death sentence I hope.

I heard on Annie Elise - 10 to life’s podcast that his laptop doesn’t have WiFi-it appears to be loaded with evidence, spreadsheets etc. The person who is reporting from the courtroom said when he didn’t want to look at someone (like now with Kay testifying) Chad ‘pretends’ to be doing work on the laptop which is laughable because there’s nothing he could actually be doing. So it’s very apparent certain witnesses make him uncomfortable enough that he pretends to work on the laptop.
Chad is such a bum his murderer wife had to use the husband she killed credit card to buy him clothes and stuff for their wedding....smh

I love how validated Heather Daybell is now!! Bet Chad's parents would pay big money if they could go back in time and confront Chad about how his beliefs were off track. Heather didn't even bring up to them how poorly Chad treated Tammy but if they had seen it and said something at least there would have been some familial accountability for him. Now he's accountable to the justice system and people are dead.

@@Freetheinnocent-judgeit infuriated me that Adam wasn't at trial, but he does have to attend his sentencing. He will have to hear the victim statements. He probably won't care, but at least Harmonys loved ones have the opportunity to say what they want to him. Also, Lori has chosen not to be present for Charles murder trial in AZ.

It was all about money. She thought she would get his life insurance. JJ received benefits for having a deceased father and Lori got benefits for being JJs only surviving parent. She got money every month and didn't have to deal with Charles asking so many questions about her life. It also bought her some time for JJs murder. Without Charles wanting his visitation rights, she could move to Hawaii and keep Kay and Larry of her back for a while. I've always wondered how long Lori thought Kay and Larry would go without demanding to see JJ.

@@justmeinhere5905 not really. He tried to dump this case & Chad and the judge would not allow it. The house is the only asset Chad has so he gave it to him for legal fees. The property value is pretty equal to what attorney fees would be in a criminal/murder case such as this one.
Its not exactly a high end home. And he will have a lot of trouble selling it considering 2 dead bodies were buried on the property.

I am amazed about how many times these people move to other places. I’ve only moved 3 times and it was always such a big deal to pack up, terminate services & setup new house.
Before I was in grade 2 I had lived in at least 6 different cities but it might be as many as 7. After that the city didn’t change but I remember at least 4 different places until I moved out at 14.
Idk why. My parents were losers for sure.
We've had to move a lot for my husband's career, and luckily it was always paid for by the companies hiring him, but ive seen the receipts and you'd have to have a TON of money to do this the way they did. What a waste of money!
Agreed. We're a military family that moves typically every 3 yrs. Just did the most recent move to Hawaii from Texas and man these things add up and it's stressful. Their behvaior and constant moves are so bizarre to me. Who WANTS to do that? That's draning.

I have admired and respected Kay snd her husband Larry since we first learned of JJ missing. I continue to admire them. I hope their actions of asking for a welfare check on JJ has proven to all of us to do similar if we feel anything is wrong.

Prior is a private attorney, Chad gave him his house as payment, Chad is now broke. Prior strategy was to delay the trial as much as he could. Then Prior wanted to get off the case just weeks before trial because there is no more money, the judge refused to let him go because it would have caused a year+ delay.
I know this may sound dense. I knew JJ was her biological grandchild but it only really hit me right now listening to Kay speaking of JJs young life as I hadnt heard the whole back story. It breaks my heart to hear how he was loved so much until Lori changed. I really cant imagine how how Kay feels & she is so strong💔💔💔sending so many hugs for Kay & Larry ♥️🙏
