Perfect Lover's is a piece that has stayed with me since I first heard about it. I think it's simplicity is so impacting and moving and it always makes me so sad to think about. No matter how many times I hear about it I always feel a little sick in the stomach with the sadness that the piece gives off when it comes to loss.
I don't like "Perfect Lovers" and perhaps if I saw it in a museum I'd still be underwhelmed, but both times you've talked about the instalation I get so mushy... I like the idea more than the execution... does it hace a big fat explainatory text in the side? how could people be visually interested in two cheap clocks on a light blue wall? how could they enjoy this artwork without context?
+CinnamonCari I think that two clocks together in a wall has an extraordinary visual strenght. Simple but unusual things can be beautiful or atractives.

Thanks for talking about Felix and Tobi. It's true about the time above the bed. Look up the MashUp show at the Vancouver Art Gallery. (He is in it.)
Thank you.
I can see two version of "perfect lovers" in Internet (black version and white version) but why? I found you use white version's picture.
Damn, I've found heaven

+CinnamonCari That's a great question! I'd love to answer in a video if you don't mind a bit of a wait :)
I don't. Thanks!
