South Asia is a very diverse place, in terms of diversity it is another USSR. It is home to different cultures, different religions, varied climate zones, topography and architecture.
Unfortunately, the most famous place in South Asia is India and foreigners are only interested in seeing Golden Triangle or going for beach vacation to Goa while transiting in Mumbai. Then I have seen some Spanish vloggers who have only visited slums in Delhi and Mumbai just to create negativity and push shock for views. I will tell you some great places in South Asia to visit each trip would be a 1week trip:
1) Bhutan: Phuentsholing, Thimphu and Paro
2) Sikkim and Darjeeling: Darjeeling, Gangtok and Pelling
3) Nepal: Kathmandu, Pokhara and Nagarkot
4) Uttarakhand: Rishikesh, Mussoorie, Landour and Dhanaulti
5) Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh: Chandigarh, Shimla, Manali, Kasol and Kasauli
6) Kashmir: Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Sonamarg
7) Pakistan: Islamabad, Murree and Nathiagali
