Helidon is an open-source Microservice framework that adopts Java's newest and coolest features to deliver maximum performance! Helidon's philosophy is to evolve along with Java LTS versions, always using the latest technologies. In this talk, we will dive into the future of Microservice development with Helidon 4, as it is the world's first framework entirely based on Virtual threads, implemented with Helidon Nima. We'll see what the benefits of using Virtual threads in such frameworks are and what problems are solved.
But this is not the only new feature - with Helidon Builder, you can quickly generate fluent APIs or easily create Config-driven beans.
With the newest Helidon's compile time Dependency Injection (JSR-330 fully compatible), maximum performance is achieved using both regular JVMs as well as GraalVM Native Image.
