I would totally do so if I still had the demo. In fact we would probably just keep making content until and through the start of the launch of the campaign. 😁 We love this series
This is about the highest quality board game playthrough I've ever seen. I can't imagine how much work goes into this but I sincerely commend your efforts! Great video, I'm super excited for DC United! (I mean DC Super Heroes United 😋)
Thank you for the kind words and thank you for watching! Hehehe, l know I'm going to mess up the name DC Super Heroes United all the time 😁. The United series continues to prove to me a fantastic product line
Haha! CMON has done an excellent job with the United series. Such a great game and design space that proves to continue to be interesting. I'm very optimistic with the DC version to be an excellent product.
Great playthrough. I really like how he works. I'm all-in with DC Heroes United. I'm excited to combine games and play Batman and Spider-man against Fin Fang Foom or something.
No worries, time zones are difficult. I too am very excited to be able to finally provide some real preview coverage for United. It's been one of our favorite games ever
59:00 Only 4 characters from Season 2 are getting their own non-generic Equipment Cards Magneto and Gambit in the Retail Equipment Deck Namor and Magick in the Promo Equipment Deck
Thanks for the clarification! I do believe there are a few others? Cyclops for sure has equipment too. But yes, not many compared to the other seasons.
Hmmm... i think darkseid should be harder. I mean, he is hard, dont get me wrong, he KO's multiple heroes. But at the end of the day, they just get back up.
I wouldn't mind him being a bit more challenging too. He is difficult but I'm wondering if they wanted to keep the difficulty not too high since this is a core set? Fortunately you can always add any challenges to make United more difficult
@Co-opGuild that is a valid reason why he would be a tad bit easier. Which is a shame since he is literally the final boss of DC. Hence why I was surprised he was included instead of having a separate box with the furies/new gods.
@co-opGuild I think the reason why Darkseid was pretty easy in this game was because you played it wrong. He's meant to start the game with all the threat cards with the anti-life Equation face up.
How about just getting the base game + SG? Sounds more reasonable to me. The thing is, they will have exclusive expansions and the FOMO will tell us to get them too. But I believe there should be enough content in the base game + the SG for most people.
I'm a little bummed that DC United S1 will likely be the best version of the game. Just because they've been able to learn so much from the first 3 seasons. I'm a much bigger Marvel fan than DC fan, and already own all of the MU stuff, so likely won't be going all in for the first time.
I agree DC will likely be the best version of the game, but the differences between Marvel and DC that I have seen so far have been very minor. Different actions while Under Pressure is the main addition, while the other changes are better iconography. I suspect we will see Team Decks and Campaigns in the upcoming Kickstarter.
CORRECTION: We played incorrectly and all of Darkseid threat cards should be Anti-Life side face up not facedown as we have in this playthrough
@@Co-opGuild maybe this means you can re-play it again for us but with different heroes ? 😁

Before the playthrough, I was planning on going all-in. This has done nothing to change that. Looking forward to the campaign and more videos!

Absolutely! I was tempted to mix and match in this very playthrough 😛
Hey guys! Gutted to have missed joining this play through love but so glad you guys got a copy of the prototype to enjoy and show off ❤❤❤

Cyborg is getting one too, as well as an identical one for First class cyborg in the retail and promo packs respectively.

@amon__7187 I agree completely. It would be very easy to make a full expansion with all the characters between the god planets
@co-opGuild I think the reason why Darkseid was pretty easy in this game was because you played it wrong. He's meant to start the game with all the threat cards with the anti-life Equation face up.
You're then rushing around the locations using your actions to flip the threat cards over to stop him getting to quickly

I agree that the Core + Stretch Goal box is probably going to be the best deal. We will be following the campaign for sure.
@@Co-opGuild I almost wish that I didn't watch any content because the new core box already looks like it packs a punch
Haha I know the feeling 😁
