Hi! I found this channel and subscriber recently - Actually this a one of the best channel for simplified tutorial can understand easily. I am new to AWS and use your video to master the capabilities of AWS. This is a good place any one to begin and master their skills. Thank for publish such good content.
Thanks so much for all the effort you put into this updated tutorial! I just finished going through it, and everything worked perfectly. The way you explain things is amazing, makes me want to binge watch all your videos. Keep up the awesome work!
Sure! Here's a rewritten version of your message: A week ago, I started working on this project but ran into issues with Node.js halfway through. Now that you've updated it, I really appreciate the help. Thanks!
Hello! I'm a new subscriber and I just want to echo what the other users are saying - THE BEST AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND AWS TUTORIAL CHANNEL I've never had my hands on AWS and just watching your tutorials make me feel like I know ALOT already! Would you happen to have AWS tutorial for automation testing? eg. Cypress, Playwright. Very keen to see how to exactly implement automation script on to the CI/CD pipeline.
Wow, this is SUCH a nice comment--thank you so much!!! 🥰🥰🥰 Unfortunately, I don't have any videos on automation testing at the moment, but I'll add this to my list of ideas for future videos. Best I can suggest in the meantime is to search here on RUclips for other content? Good luck! 💪🔥
@@TinyTechnicalTutorials Thank you, I'm currently facing the deployment issue where I cannot deploy any app, even with the template app provided in the Quick Start documentary for amplify. It keeps saying that my account and region has not been bootstrapped whenever I tried to deploy anything :(
Double-check that you did #5 in this guide? There's a one-time bootstrapping that has to happen for things to work: docs.amplify.aws/react/start/account-setup. Hope that helps! 😊
I'm so glad you liked it! I do have some service-specific videos on the channel. Here's one for Lambda: ruclips.net/video/e1tkFsFOBHA/видео.html. Thanks for watching! 🙏🌟🤓
Thanks for the nice comment, @simr9230! 🥰 I'll definitely add that to my list! It might not be in time for your project, but I'll add it. 😎 In the meantime, here's a project I came across a while ago that builds a bookstore using DynamoDB: aws.amazon.com/tutorials/build-an-application-using-a-no-sql-key-value-data-store. There might be some inspiration you can use from that?
Hello, thanks for all your tutorials. They are really helpful! I got 401 status code when I tried to test authorizer on API Gateway. Please, how do I correct this?
Thank you very much for this excellent tutorial. It has been incredibly helpful in providing me with hands-on experience, and I was able to successfully replicate the project from start to finish.I would like to ask if it would be appropriate to include this project as part of my portfolio for job applications. Your guidance has been invaluable, and I believe showcasing this project would demonstrate my practical skills effectively. Thank you once again for your support, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thanks for the kind words, John! I'm so glad you got it working--CONGRATS! 🤓💪 Yes, this would be a great project to demonstrate your skills. You can highlight all the services that are working on the backend (maybe with a callout that you didn't write the code from scratch). As far as costs, just make sure you set up an AWS Budget to alert you if costs are going over a certain threshold. If you're in the Free Tier, you should be fine, but at some point, there will be charges. If you need help on the Budget, check out the timestamp for that in this video: ruclips.net/video/vDtXk6QlRpo/видео.html. And/or if you wanted to record a short video of the project, maybe narrating how you built it, then you can delete all the services and use the video instead (hosted on RUclips or Vimeo maybe). Anyway, hope that helps! Good luck with the job search! 😊🌟
Hi Tobi! 👋 Are you talking about the final diagram in the video showing all the services? If so, I just created a screenshot for you here: drive.google.com/file/d/1wPrPbJJXj0xvV7_oZsiNZC2_S-nElxy3/view?usp=drive_link. Hope that helps! 🤓
Im trying to make an app with gen 2 Next.JS and I can't seem to properly understand how to set up APIs and lambda functions in this new workflow. Id love to see how to make these all 'in-code' rather than the manual way you showed in the video, especially lambda.
Hey @RealityRogue! 👋 Have you found this yet for the Lambda functions? docs.amplify.aws/nextjs/build-a-backend/functions/set-up-function/ And for using with API Gateway: docs.amplify.aws/nextjs/build-a-backend/add-aws-services/rest-api/set-up-rest-api/ I unfortunately don't have any videos at the moment that tie a whole app together like that, but I'll add this idea to my list. I DO have a video for doing a simple Amplify Gen 2 app with a basic data model and auth: ruclips.net/video/7-7ugqAxgxI/видео.html. Anyway, hope that helps! Gen 2 is definitely a big change from Gen 1, so I hear ya! 🤓
I just built the old one. And troubleshooted the problems. It was the nodejs 20 that gave me errors. I feeel pain. But thank you so much for this video and the video before.
Are you talking about the images in the web app itself? If so, I can't take any credit for those...all from AWS. 😊 But the other visuals throughout the video are just done in PowerPoint. Nothing fancy there!
@@TinyTechnicalTutorials Why is Solutions Architect promoted so much, But Cloud Developer certificate isnt talk about so much? I passed the Cloud Dev Certification. Thank you so much, its crazy how much faster the second time doing the project.

Can u make a video on how to make to-do app using amplify 1st gen(using aws console)?
Said it before, and I’ll say it again - quite simply the best tutorial channel on RUclips. Absolutely fantastic content as usual.
Awwww...this made my day! Thanks so much for the nice comment! 🙏🤓🌟
