I barely found about this video today, ive seen so many videos about leaks on honda , and I was about to reseal the timing belt cover as it wal all covered in oil, and for some reason i decided to remove the power steering pump and just start the engine one last time and finally saw the leak coming out of this part, man i couldng believe it, i had the seal all along in my toolbox as it came with the other seal VTEC seal, and this one I had no idea where it went, so i just replaced the other one and left this one aside, as i did not have any information on it. until this last weekend, and now i see this video online... first time someone talks about it, at least that i know of

This proves to me that it's not only the mileage...but also TIME that causes issues. This vehicle only has 124,000 miles on it.

If you're reading this comment and have a similar leak, I can confirm it's DIY doable.
I recently had a leak from this same spot on my '08 CRV.
My year/generation probably is the worst to do this job on because it's packed pretty tightly in the area you have to work around.
I ended up needing to remove my engine mount to make room. (Remember to support your engine with a wood block and jack if you need to)
    Good luck.

A video that looks exactly like mine. Oil all over the left end of the engine! I figured the belt was throwing oil all over the place.
And this little cover and failed gasket makes all that mess? Nothing else leaking for you?
    Thank you.

Most likely hose to fail in time is high-pressure line. If you already replace o-ring on fitting then likely it is weeping at the couplings along the line. It will usually follow down the line onto the rack itself. Usually consumes fluid about the rate you specified. A long drive or a couple short trips you will be at the low level.
