2024 and I find myself wanting to play this game to build a blimp; Narrow envelope, gondola inside the envelope, and engine behind the gondola, all to see how fast it can go.
Never noticed this as a kid, but that's not a blimp. Blimps do not have a rigid airframe inside the envelope, which means the gondola *must* be outside, because the thruster engines *must* attach to the gondola. What this game has you build is a zeppelin, which *does* have a rigid airframe.
That “Shady Glen” is the same name as heard from Disney’s story of Bambi. By the way, the “with Chimps” game setting has hard level of difficulty. On the other hand, “without Chimps” is easy level of difficulty.

I was first introduced to this at Y-Camp long ago, during one of the Specialty Camp weeks. And I'll say one thing: It's a shame there was never a camp where you'd actually build this stuff!
Morty Maxwell apparently doesn't know that chimps are not monkeys but actually apes. (The optional enemies in this game are officially named Cyber CHIMPS.)
Hey, just stumbled upon these videos. Loved playing this game back when I was a kid. What are you using to run these? VirtualBox, DOSBox, etc? Would love to find my old CDs of these and play em again. Can’t wait to watch your stuff.
Have I ever heard the voice actor of Morty ("the Master of Mischief") somewhere else? It does sound familiar to me but I'm not sure where I've heard him before (if at all.)
I have tried and failed at finding that game with voice's enabled, I liked playing the game and hearing the voices at the end of each race, where can I find one that has the voices enabled or how do I enable the voices in that game. if there is a way to do it.
I remember this game! My brother and I used to play it (my brother got it as a present). It was in Dutch and it was called: Super Speurder Race spektakel (translation: Super Detective Race Spectacle) And Morty Maxwell was called Midas Mispunt (translation: Midas Wrongpoint)
As a kid I remember seeing some other classmates playing this game in our 6th grade science class. I never got to play it though. I don't remember why, possibly because I failed a test or got in trouble, but either way I'm still mad I never got the chance to try it.
the game originally was for DOS and released in 1993.........the CD-ROM repackaging was released in 1998 for Windows(3.x,95,98) with minor tweaks to music, sfx and added speech like in the video
I loved this game growing up. Whos here in 2020
This game was in my dream last night. Remember playing it in school in the 90s.
2022 here! I still have the CD that I got for my 9th birthday way back in 1995 & still play it once in a while! Easily my favorite Super Solvers game!

2024. I absolutely loved this game when I was a kid.

Ahh, nostalgia. I played this as a kid. Good times...

Me too
I kinda wish all the Learning Company PC games from the 1990s got on Steam
Played when I was younger. Such a good game.
My main takeaway from this game is that fiberglass is amazing.
I used to love this game sooo much! Its nice to know the name finally, haha
16:30 morty Maxwell is salty

This game's soundtrack can sound pretty good if paired with a good sound card that supports soundfont general midi.
The intro up to min 1:44😂😂, we've been looking for it for ages!!Finally found it here, thank you!!!🤩👌

Thank you for uploading these. I played this game during the summer of 2006 getting myself ready for junior high. It helped me a lot.
The game rules could have been fairer when a race was won by the computer opponent (Morty), there could have been point deductions.
This is the version I played with my brother as a kid! I also love that badass sound effect the character makes when he does the running jump!

So, correct me if I'm wrong, but:
*_Narrow_* envelope
Gondola *_Inside_* the envelope
Engine *_Behind_* the gondola
equals the fastest blimp

He reminds me of Nitros oxide from CTR
@@captaindad7545 I can see that a bit. Not sure if it's the same voice actor, though. I don't think it is.
It takes Morty like 10 seconds to spot someone napping
8:20 Oops! Morty's vehicle was faster than yours.
16:15 TOKYO DRIFT TIME! lol
I remember tons of kids fighting over who got to play this at free time in the computer lab back in 3rd-4th grade.
Really nostalgic to see it again.

I really love this version of the music playing in aircraft warehouse! Where can I find and listen to it?

Where did you get a Windows version? I can only find the DOS versions.
There's also a Macintosh version.
My third grade class went nuts over this game. 😩😩😩
I can see his eyes
I want you cyberjams... hey, WAKE UP THERE
BAHAHA The music sounds liek it's from a Jerry Jackson cartoon! X'DDDD paahaha
