I am a local resident and my English is good enough to give such an interview. I am the father of 4 kids, I got a free apartment from the state in 2020, I could tell you a lot about child lifestyle here in Belarus + give a tour to our abandoned villages.
Gomel is green. The Gomel park is at least 500 acres if you count the nature preserve across the pedestrian bridge. You can never be tired of it. Gomel is definitely vibrant, safe, clean and it is developing. Plenty of free public beaches and lots of forests
Gomel has its cozy southern Kyiv like vibe, but its all just that one park and 2-3 main streets and thats it, wish it had some more hidden spots that tourists dont go to
@@wadeem5329 The Gomel park is colossal in size. How much more does anyone need? There are over 300 acres of open land right across the bridge. Then there is the Festival Park which is also about 40+ acres of woods and walking paths. Southern Gomel is very very green and there are 10+ free public beaches in the city. The night life is also vibrant.
@@gomel47Yeah i really liked the part across the bridge, its kind of more "wild" as not many people go there and the nature there is quite different, it reminded me of some African savannah lol, Beach Number 5 on Minsk Sea has similar vibe, really recommend checking it out!
I am an Irish Partizan subscriber and its always nice to see a balanced review of Belarus itself which we never see in the Western media due to it's inherent bias and making 'bad guys' out of certain countries and states based upon their political leaders and their relationships with other 'bad guys.'
Two awesome dudes. Niaal, I will see you in Gomel very soon. Everything is possible in Belarus. You can work, live, raise children in total safety, zero rain bow propaganda, beautiful, clean cities. There's less money, but more people are happier than in western countries with more money.
Always enjoy the Irish Partizan! What was the name of the great hotel he recommended in Gomel? Service Hotel? Also, are both of you speaking Belarusian or Russian on a daily basis?
Homel is ok, Belarus is ok too, ladies are more ok. 2 weeks ago I met a new Belarus lady, blond, look 30 is 50, good job, hobby is photonodelling, just gorgeous. And yesterday I see my ex girlfriend from Homel. She was at the platform for dating. Finding a new friend, I guess. I gave her a message but she is to much angry. I blew it. But these 2 ladies proved how beautyfull and nice, sexy, smart the ladies of Belarus are. There are manny of them. Good Luck you all, finding a Belarus Natalia, Oksana or Svetlana, etc. 👍👍
Those with permanent residency or temporary residency can rent an apartment for $80-$120 per month with a year lease. In Gomel there's plenty of apartments available for that low price. But that's for folks who are permanent or temporary residents who can stay in Belarus for a year.

The rainbow isn't the reason you can't get laid where you're from.

The Hotel Circus 😁 As for your second question, it's Russian.

Belarus is essentially 10% of what Germany was like in 1936. A lot of untapped potential still in productivity.
Why the name Partizan?
Whats the cost of rent for a modest studio or 1 bedroom? I know its subjective but ballpark, i need to get out of here.
Minsk maybe 350 for smallish with limited remont
