Larry: thanks again for sharing a great video. GOD has blessed this country so many times with men like CW3 Terry Glen Heers - he willfully did his duty to the best of his ability. What more could be asked... Roy
I hope the lady that gave CW3 Heers a kiss for his service and welcomed him home is watching this. I'd like to say thank you and God bless you and your family. You are a wonderful person and mother.
Larry, I have been listening to these videos for over a year now. My Dad retired Navy in 1985. He did 2 or 3 tours in Vietnam. Never would talk about it. He passed in 2013. I only know that he was in the Mekong Delta. This man talks like my Dad, clears his throat like my Dad, I could hear my Dad in some of his comments. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR GIFT YOU HAVE! You have blessed many of us and I believe these stories help heal our veterans and their spouses and children.
Dear Kristian, I hope this reply reaches you. Your comment was very timely and touched me. My work is a labor of love and I thank God these stories are helping people heal. I would love to hear more about your Father and see any photos you may have. Please feel free to reach out to me. EMAIL: lcappetto@icloud.com
When he said we won the war is very true. The politicians lost the war.My brother was there in NAM.I am very proud of him and all the Vietnam veterans.God bless every Vietnam veteran and other veterans that served.Welcome home and thank you and all other veterans for your service and our freedom.
This man has a 100% grasp of the war and how it went down. Thank you so much for your service sir, your family is blessed and honored. To see these men salute brings tears to my eyes every time.
As I`ve told you,my father did a 4-year stint,`65-`69 in the Sub service,New London,CT,on the USS Casimir Pulaski, one of the first nuclear subs...he was a torpedoman, and of course,my brother and I kinda took it for granted--we knew the "big"parts about it,things we would hear him tell his friends and others his age, about how he`d spend 90 days on the ocean floor each time they`d be deployed...I think my brother knew a little more since he was interested in joining the military,so Dad found an eager ear, even though he joined the Army, and ended up being gassed in the desert(story for another day).....Dad`s ashes are stored in an ammo box at my brother`s house, and I can`t believe how much I miss the man,but we`ll unite again and I can`t wait...........Thanx for yet another interview and I`ll be looking for the next...........Steve,from Downeast Maine......
Mr Heers Thank you for your service. Every combat vet should have gotten a kiss. The hair on my arms were standing up as tears rolled down my cheeks, aa i heard you say that.
Isaac, most people would not know how to find a playlist. All they know is the play button. I have created several playlists but nothing current. I will give it some thought though. Thanks for your comment.

What a patriot. Such an interesting story. I would like to have met him.
Seems like a idiot ,saying " we needed to be there " obviously since communism never spread throughout South East Asia .we didn't need to be there
