Rather than use Castle, maybe use Dun or Broch (old English/Gaelic/Germanic) before the name eg Dun Forge, Ironheart's Broch (Broch Ironheart). Could also use Stronghold or Fortress.

combining the nether bricks and red nether bricks could make really cool symbols. I would like to see something like a round platform made of nether bricks and has a some sort of pattern made of red nether bricks.
It’s looking fab! I’ve just gotten an idea for the name from the deep red roofs- to sit with the theme how about ‘The Crimson Castle’ or ‘The Crimson Keep’, though I’m not the brightest, I think those names would fit nicely with Founders Forge. 😄
Hi Pixlriffs! I just want to say thank you for creating such entertaining videos. Your videos - unlike other youtubers' - seem to go by sooo quickly as the content is fun to watch. I can always rely on you to make my day whenever I watch your vids even though I only watch your survival guide series. I just want to thank you for keeping me playing minecraft because sometimes I feel like quitting.
Always good to see your tips and tricks on the builds helps heaps for trying to create my own world with more detail. I started watching about a month ago and have watched and binged watched every episode so far keep it up. Enjoying the farms and feel of your world XD
Lord Ironhart. The blacksmith that unionized the blacksmith guild to get them from under the tyrannical thumb of the king. As a thank you the people of founders forge and old town worked together to build Castle Brimstone.
Cool castle man. These castle episodes have been inspirational. Although strategically speaking, you'll probably want some towers and walls/battlements on the surrounding hills to protect from the invaders taking high ground around the castle. You might have already planned this, but I think that would be awesome.
Once the castle is finished, and mostly mob proofed, it'd be cool if you put your villager stuff withen the castle residential areas and maybe the court yard
You may use stairs to create opening for shooting arrow (in a corner one up one down on each side) (It protect the player inside, provide good field of vision. I know, I know you... mention "not military accurate" but does wood fence give me chills. Rip bowmans. thing of it... it may be a nice place to set your graveyard (won't be hudge with only two death)
For some reason the 2 towers in the front look like they have owl heads from a distance, which really fits the kind of "watcher" purpose of the build ^-^
If the castle ends up taking two weeks to build, then maybe Fort Fortnite would be a fitting name for it :P Really though, I think Castle Brimstone is pretty perfect, considering the rift and the red roofs
at the 11:05 mark, when you were talking about doing something with the main part, how about a walk way over to the tower on the left side of the screen shot. almost like someway for the elite guard's to access the castle main
Hey Pix, I got a really nice idea for the cross-bow-men defending the tower (you have to be in 1.14 though). How about you trap Pillagers in the towers and put trapdoors on each of the four sides of the towers. Then you could connect the all the trapdoors to a single lever and if you ever get an unwanted visitor, you flick the lever and they are dead. If you're not planning to open the world to a server you could name them "johnny" and they will defend you from even the zombies and other hostile mobs. I hope you see this comment.
Hi Pixlriffs ! Could you please once show us your camera's account skin through your main character view ? it would be cool to see finally what the "eye on the sky" look like ! :)
Hey pixlriffs, i tried to make that villager breeder u made a while ago and basically it breeded about 7 villagers and now they are just infinitely walking around giving each other carrots and not breeding also i traded with almost all of them quite a lot and nothing is happening. Can u help?
If you’re playing on Bedrock, the villager breeder won’t work because it has no vertical height limit. So just add a bunch of extra doors around the outside, and they should breed until you have one villager for every door.
I'll throw 'Scarbluff Keep' into the suggestion pool, because it sits near a ravine, or 'scar', and between two bluffs. Admittedly, calling the entire castle 'Scarbluff Keep' would be a bit of a misnomer, as the keep is but a single building, so something akin to 'Castle Scarbluff' or 'Scarbluff Fort' might be more appropriate, but I think that 'Scarbluff Keep' sounds cooler, and it's not like this is a medieval anthropology channel.
I'm working on a build using a pallet with End Bricks for the walls and Dark Prismarine for the roof with some Iron Bars and End Rods for accents. Does anyone have any suggestions for additional blocks that'll match well with that pallet?
The castle changes DRASTICALLY once you add roofs! Its coming together really nicely, Pix. Great to see more videos!

you should add a couple towers to the mountains on either side, or else the castle is in the low ground and can easily be overtaken
Try and use lanterns for lighting. I think it would be a great light source for the build pallet you are using.
Keep up the good work
Hey Pixl! Put your string farm to use and use it to mob-proof your castle roofs!
