Realize he was never implicated in plotting any burglary, he was only implicated in covering up who was involved in the burglary. This was all the rope they had to hang him with, that he just wanted the matter hushed up when that's par for the course these days.
These days "of course the White House doesn't want to know where this baggie of cocaine they found came from, yes, it's a cover up, so what? It's smart to cover these things up. What nobody knows about nobody can be mad about."

I'm amazed in how Nixon is much more mentally conscious and thoughtful of world matters than most of the Democrats and Republicans of today's day and age combined. Back in his day he may have been seen as far right but in today's day and age I see him as moderate and sane

Most Democrats and many Republicans are also thoughtful about these matters but you won’t see that platformed on commercial news. Fox would rather ask Republicans about Biden slipping on a ramp or his brother repaying him 40k in 2018 and pretending it’s somehow impeachable because his son is an idiot.

Nixon was an interesting case, especially early in his first term he had a bit of a liberal streak with things like the EPA and other environmental policies, creating OSHA, and a couple other things, but was fiscally conservative through and through and backtracked on some of his other previously socially liberal stances to appeal to southern voters, a lot of whom had voted for Wallace the last election (and given his 1972 results it seemed to have worked)

So pox on both of their houses seems to be what you’re saying here! Well, I beg to differ! You obviously have misread history or forgotten it, because I remember President Obama, dispatching John Kerry to get control of what they characterized as loose, nukes, and that it was the Obama administration who wanted to denuclearize the planet, and not Richard Nixon, and so the fact that they weren’t able to accomplish this, does not mean that it is not worthy of note. Capeesh! Cheers.

I don't think articulate has anything to do with it anymore because today is such a different time than it was back then. But it would be nice. But it's not going to happen because this world needs somebody of action. We don't need pretty words or pretty structured sentences. We need you to say what you mean and me what you say. We need someone who can direct our country in the direction it needs to go by any means necessary cuz there's so much nastiness in government and politics and in the senate that we can ever go back to the time that it used to be and unfortunately that is a fact that is not my opinion because if you want my honest opinion we should destroy all of the government and rebuild it for the bottom up and put people in there that we actually all can agree. Should be there as a nation, not people that were voted in there by certain states or even cities. It should be a nationwide rebuilding on every level but that's my opinion but what I stayed in before that are the actual facts of what needs to be done and what kind of leader we need cuz we do live in different times now and those times are not going back to normal ever again because I would like for you to tell me whenever something happened to changed a faucet of life that it ever went back to normal. It never does. It's like saying that the economy is going to go back to where it was before and it never will be because now they know they can get more from the people. But what they will do is they will throw us a bone and give us something that we can relate to it going back to normal. But what is normal normal's whatever they want to make it and we accept

Trump is one of the worst things to happen to this country as we have become a people who lack decorum, which is a direct reflection of Trump. My read of the situation is that, if he'd confessed about the break-in when he learned of it (which wasn't until afterwards), that it probably would have led to another election... which he would have won... so a huge waste of money, as well as time.
Secondly, JFK had recently (about 10 years earlier) been caught in a massive lie, in which HE was actually responsible... in which Americans had actually DIED... and got clean away with it... in spite of ALSO being CAUGHT lying.

I would say he was _among_ the smartest maybe not the smartest. That’s not me saying he is stupid, not by a long shot, just that many presidents I believe just by value that they are American are immediately labeled as unintelligent. Which is a gross and unfounded delusional idea.

Richard Nixon hit the nail squarely on the head, with this prophecy that he made about 45 years ago... His understanding of foreign policy, and the propensity of some of the nations of the Middle East is so accurate, it is almost as if he went into the future 50 years ahead of this conversation he had about this subject... Just Amazing...

That isn’t true. Both Republicans and Democrats were going to vote to remove him. Republicans and democrats voted to impeach him! Everyone knew he broke the law and they were more concerned about the constitution of the US than their parties. Nixon didn’t break anywhere close to the laws that Trump has been charged with. We have a congressional crises! There are no more statesmen or women who know what they are doing. They have become childish brats. Come to think of it, 70 million brats voted for Trump! Look at the people who were "removed". They were all anti-CIA. JFK, RFK, MLK, Agnew, Nixon, they tried Reagen (allowing the ex-CIA HW to rise to the throne).
After Reagen, there were appropriate globalist war-mongering puppets until Trump. Look what they have been doing to him. Yes, the fabricated dossier was a coup attempt.
Now, they have a demented puppet in Biden doing their bidding.
