A note for everyone reading this comment: Your progress on the first DLC (Carnage Hall) will also be lost when you do New Game +. You will keep all things related to the DLC (Outfits, Armor, Weapons... etc), but you will lose the progress, rank and coins from that DLC. So make sure to buy everything of interest to you before doing New Game + or else you will have to go through the entire DLC again only to buy something you missed.
I’m just happy we get to keep the Carnage Mania as well as all the progress made towards upgrading the blueprints for it since Techland could’ve pulled another PK Crossbow-esque stunt where you lose everything related to it upon doing a NG+.

So when I start ng+ this year in 2024 I always get all my stuff back when the game released they took everything away and forced you to work back up but now they don't take your glider or grapple hook
You lose everything that’s story progression wise. Crossbow, Night runners tools, etc.. You keep everything that you have obtained in game such as charms and cosmetic gear. I’ve ran through a couple of new game plus but that all you really lose.
Thanks for explaining new game+, new game+ is really not required to earn those 7 weapon blueprints from the story and side quests, browsing our journal, it shows checkmarks that we earned them but they're just not available at the craftmaster. I don't have those blueprints because I completed the quests before the gut feeling update but I'm still not going to start new game+ because it's just not necessary and this is just UNACCEPTABLE, we're not havin it, we will make them change this.
For NG+, are you able to get every single faction reward? Because i was kind of just going to beat the game, get every faction reward and then speedrun NG
I heard in New Game Plus there is a bug that you’re Mods and other thing that are upgradable going to reset when you get them again and you need to upgrade them again from 0.
i hate how they scale to your level in ng+.. sometimes i just wanna fight hordes of zombies or something without losing a ton of health from like 3 hits
i recently started playing on next gen and noticed they give you blueprints from story missions do you get specific ones from your path as when you side with pk or survivors i remember pk had best looking katana from revolution but i rather stay with survivors even if that blueprint is not a thing it would be nice to have it in future
The reason I'm thinking about ng+ is because after completing the story none of the enemies are scaled to my level. So it was too easy. Is that normal?

You lose all your nightrunner gear which is understandable however the UV light we need at the beginning instead of halfway through the game And having to re upgrade all of it again instead of having it maxed out when you get it back is kind of dumb cuz I don't want to go around and get all the parts to upgrade my gear over and over and over it gets annoying fast

NG+ wasn't a problem for me, i believe I was already lvl 8 or 9 when I did it 😂 But quick question: do your collectibles also reset? Edit: i believe I misremembered (cause 6 is max w/o NG+ right?) and just farmed parkour EP from 6 to 9 because i basically was maxed out and just needed couple of inhibitors for max health

Hi i did replay game + just 2 weeks ago, i keep my PK crossbow, i just got this game. And my first rerun as i said i keep the PG crossbow, so did they charge as i read many complain about the crossbow.
Or was it a different crossbow? You get to keep Hakons crossbow but not the PK one. The reason why is the story resets and you can only get the PK crossbow from progressing the story

and lets say if you completed the game siding with the survivors all the way to the max to get ziplines for example, if i do a new game plus with that save do i keep my progress on the survivors factions i sided with or does it completely reset and i have to pick again between survivors or peacekeepers? hope question makes sence😅
it resets so you can choose a new one or you can go with the same one again if you like. it changes the story so not a bad idea if you want to see a new story line
I think so. Try a new story line. Mess around in new ways. Hit every side quest so that I can open up some of the hidden side quests closer to the end. Things like that

And the knightrunner tools will also stay, but in several parts of the Story you will ned to play without them. @@Loker22You are Welcome my dude, On Pc you can start a new run, then close it, so you see the naming of the save. at steam you must search the path for the save at the steam install byself, easy to search. there copy your actual working save, delete the new one, and rename the copied save to the same number/name then teh new one you deleted before. Like this you have a actuall save with first game, and you get ng plus save same time. You can also make a backup with usb driove on consoles and have a backup of your game without ng plus. NG plus is not so much harder, its less hard then you was feeling at the very beginning, and get a lot more loot and better wuality loot as well. (stats are higher) Greetings
it will be transormed nto NG Save. so if you are at PC best is to copy the save and put it renamed in another save slot. Like this you could always go back, if you dont like NG. but i think you will, its a blast and you will get better loot and XP

Another thing that sucks, unless my brother did something wrong, when you shift from the PS4 version to the PS5 version, you basically have to start over as if you're starting a new Game+.
Friendly reminder tips: Speed run main story (skip all side quest) start ng+, then enjoy every single event in the game. Your real world is in ng+ trust me🤣

Your decisions matter. One faction will give you something the other won’t. I wish I could get both but you can’t unfortunately

Once you hit legend 250 your basically a god in the game super hard to die and real easy to kill zombies

you cant max out stamina and Health in one run.
with a second ng there are the mising other 30 Inhibitors to max the chara out.

I redeemed the hakon crossbow it gave me the blueprints for bolts I started new game plus and it got rid of the blueprint
It only gives you the crossbow bolts. You don’t get a blueprint with the crossbow
I booted another save and it gave me the blueprint

It won’t reset the collectibles but it will reset the story so if there is a collectible that you missed you will be able to get it

not anymore. just never put them in your stash or dropp them, as they will dissapear.

Does the Script turn off if u play without Event?

Just tried it. It does not work. It only turns off the hud community events
Losing your tools is absolutely lame. What is the point of ng+ when you lose the tools to make ng+ fun

Speed run main story (skip all side quest) start ng+, then enjoy every single event in the game.
Your real world is in ng+ trust me🤣
Not a bad tip to be honest but it does ruin the story surprise the second time around, even if you skipped the story cut scenes the first run
