Hey ! Nice video again ! I have a question : at 1:08:00 when you attack Bruce with Cloak, you use "channel the dark" and he doesn't defend. Did he not forget to discard a card ? He took 2 damage undefended but no discard. It could have an importance after that no ? Or did I miss something ? Anyway it's a very nice format those matchups of the month, especially analysis of the decks at the beginning of the video :)
You're definitely right I forgot to make him discard unfortunately. I noticed that while editing. But I don't think it would have mattered because he would have discarded One Inch Punch. Which does mean he couldn't have boosted in to kill Cloak that last turn, but he would have double maneuvered and had High Straight Lead and Shift in hand. If I double maneuver my next two cards are Living Shadow and Chosen Fate, so he would have just killed me with the HSL on his following turn over my Living Shadow. My only chance would have been if I boosted my living shadow away (my only defense) to attack him with the Darkforce Dimension, dealing 1 damage over the Shift and discarding his HSL and then I have no cards in hand and he also has no cards, and I throw him more than 3 spaces away so he can't attack me. Then we play from there, but I had no more attacks above a 4 value, so with him at 2 HP I likely still lose.
Even if Chad meant another character, I think T-Rex really benefits from popping the helium balloons, as mentioned at 55:49. As a Large fighter, T-Rex's double attack range increases from 2 spaces in every direction to 4 spaces in every direction - a huge advantage, even triggering Momentous Shift along with the XK class End of the World scenario of just being double attacked by T-Rex right after deciding to run away. Holy shit, Bloody Mary, duh
Congrats to Chad for evening up his MotM record! I can't wait to see Squirrel Girl in here, though I'm unsure if Chad is willing to pull out the secret weapon so soon (or if you're willing to play her)
Well he hasn't quite evened it up yet, he's still down by 2 haha. But this definitely helped! And hey if the Patrons vote Squirrel Girl then we will play Squirrel Girl.
Quick question. I’m a casual player and I sometimes like to watch competitive matches. I’ve been wondering, when people play online unmatched, why do you use this format instead of the official digital edition. Unmatched has a digital edition and it’s seems pretty great. I don’t have it so I don’t know if there’s a specific issue with it that makes you choose to use this format. Let me know if you can.
Vorpal Board and TTS are like sandbox platforms where we can upload any components we need. The digital edition is limited to official character releases on that platform, which they have stated will not include any of the current IP decks due to licensing issues. So using Unmatched Digital would limit the character selection severely. It is a fantastic digital implementation and great for casual games, but for competitive we want the option of using all released heroes and maps.
This is Vorpal Board! Its a subscription based website. I have a link in the video description to their website if you want to learn more or get a trial.
I mean it's definitely not something to rely on because there's only 1 copy and it's not always going to trigger, but it can definitely swing a game in your favor so just something to look out for.
Yeah fair it's in all m games with Bruce it's really rare to actually see it trigger and even when it does it usually doesn't matter much. I usually end up boosting with it 90% of the time
@@front_ed169 why do you say there wasn't one inch punch? He discarded the one in punch to boost at attack me at the end. I knew with zazoom he had water, skirmish, and jeet coming up. So he must have had the OIP in hand when we forgot the discard ability.

I think you’re right. Shoulda been a discard, but skatr forgot to activate the ability!

@@zeroskatr12 It irks me that cloak can't do just a little bit more damage than his kit currently allows.
@Jaze1618 I agree. Dagger having all the real damage isn't fair haha. Cloak specific card should have been a 5.
Crazy matches! Definitely love Cloak and Dagger's kit but Bruce is never out of it! Another great episode!
Great video as always. Thank you for the fantastic Unmatched content!

Very obviously meant Bloody Mary imo
Gosh that first game was brutal ahaha. Loved the fight and loved the new char as well. Nice video as always zero!
Yeah that game 1 did not go well for me haha. Though I'm glad we were able to show off the power of Dagger!
What a great matchup of the month. Love your channel bro. Keep it up.
I am real excited about Cloak and Dagger, but with Iello lagging behind we don't have Houdini vs Genie yet...
Hopefully you can get them soon!
PreVideo Prediction: Bruce gets wrecked

Thanks for the answer
Did a similar match up w Raptors and we were combo food
Against who, Bruce or C&D?
@@zeroskatr12 C&D! Just slapped each other constantly! Super short game. THE FUTURE OF UNMATCHED lol!
What program are you using to play this online?

1:08:27 did chad forget to discard from cloak’s ability?
Yes he definitely did. I gave more of an explanation in another comment but I don't think it would have changed the outcome in the end.
I don't think any interaction with taste of blood is key. It's a pretty bad card

With Bruce there are no bad matchups only bad draw
😂
Chad didn't discard card after taken Cloack attack in the second game

You're right. I explained in another comment that's pinned but I don't think it would change the outcome.
@@zeroskatr12 depends on what he drew from the maneuver. But it isn't crucial for sure.
@front_ed169 well he had the One Inch Punch in hand that he could have discarded to the Cloak ability. I knew his draws because of Zazoom.
@zeroskatr12 There wasn't One Inch Punch there when you used Zazoom. And you were playing a low-hand game, so 1 card could have changed everything.
