so cool this up on here. i dont even listen to these guys anymore but my homie and i were at this show. Tim was really cool and i even sat down and talked to him before the show. good times.
Just now my gf broke up with me after a year. This song really describes me at the moment. I may be sad, let down, broken, but the positivety this song has is keeping my head up straight , it's giving motivation to keep on going with my life. There's a lot of "fish" in the sea they say.
Ok guys and girls. I recorded this video and I have like 200 videos up here. But this is my favorite by far. Energy, lyrics, maybe it just spoke to me at the time of what I was going through personally. I take no credit whatsoever except to have shown up and took the time to transfer it to the web. All I ask is that you guys make a point to watch it once a month just for the sheer joy I believe it brings. Peace and love to all of you.
i love you. I've always come back to this video ever since i found it like 6-7 years ago. It's my favorite video on the internet. I'd give just about anything to have been in that room.
The fact that they're live performances sound so close to the studio versions just shows how freaking amazing they are. They don't need audio editing to sound adequate - that sound fantastic just as they are.
saw them at least 3 different times at chain reaction 10 years ago in high school, i feel so old! THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this. seriously just made my day
Well, i just think that RA is at their best in Revolutions Per Minute. Deep lyrics, theyre emotional(without being emo), political, and what more can you wish. I just think that ever since geffen records came in the picture RA has gotten more and more mainstream. And its very frustrating because thats not what i want RA to be like :( at the start rise was like epic, now its just mainstream :( and i blame geffen for that.
At least you went to a RA show, I discovered RA in 2011 when I was 14 when my older brother got the Endgame album. It was cool music, then I discovered their early albums and saw their "underground" shows on youtube and was hooked to their hardcore punk songs. I wish I could go back in time and be at, at least one of those shows To this day I haven't seen any RA shows, I can't even go to their big arena shows because I live far away from any major city in my country.
The aren't quite big words to explain how much I love this band. I am pretty happy I discovered them on time, before 4-5 years. Someone can't understand me, how can I listen to one band so much, but really I found a perfection in music. And thats Rise Against. Gonna tattoo their logo this summer on my chest :)
they didnt retire this song, they havent retired any of their songs, at every show they always play a few random old songs, theyre a band that still knows how to play every one of their songs, they just never play this song like this anymore, tim just does it on an acoustic himself now
No problem. I took it, but I'm happy to have it shared with the world. RA forever. I just wish I had the forethought to do a better job. I had no idea they would take off like they did.
Damn! I wish I could of been there :( or at least see a non-acoustic version! I mean I love both versions so much, but this one had so much energy, this was back when everyone who was at their concerts were true hardcore fans and knew all the lyrics! There present-day concerts are still fucking epic, but usually not like this :(
I started to listen to Rise Against in 2003 when I was 9 because my brother was 16 at the time and got me into Revolutions Per Minute. My life is full of jealousy. He got to see Rise Against in 2003 with their first 2 records, Anti-Flag in their prime, Bush in office (made Punk rock even better). Fuck me. Then in 2010, 7 years later, when I was 16, Rise Against wouldn't play their first 2 records and were selling out large 4,000 people arenas Sucks for me especially since I knew them in 2003 w/e
same story here bro, my sister got me into them back in 2002 when i was 11. Still have never seen them...they were my favorite band for at least 10 years straight just listening to the sufferer and the witness and back..never appreciated the idea that they would change and stop playing their older stuff...missed my chance to see them at a show like this...its sad but i guess you can't blame them
normally i'd say its a perfect gig but many ppl say that perfect means boring... so i seek for a word meaning perfect but is not related to beredom... Whatever: best band and great gig
i can understand that your very angry, but listen to ready to fall, that is the most important song of ra. I like this old stuff really and i think appeal to reason isn't very good. But the sufferer and the witness isthe best album. Every song is perfect. Revolutions per minutes and siren song of the counter culture are really great too, songs like dancing for rain, broken english or swing life away are one of the best ra songs. The unravling is good album, but it's not the music everyone likes.
of cause. i love the unraveling, but i mean that more people buy appeal to reason. some people say that this album is full of "screaming music". idiots. no one understand rise against...
"The unravling is good album, but it's not the music everyone likes." What the hell? Don't give a fuck about what the most people like. RA should play what they like, nothing else
i would not call them famous... you rarely hear them on the radio, there are many people who have no clue who they are and they are unable to sell out large scale venues like madison square garden... so no, i'm not late.
RA them selfs said they prefer newer stuf to old, that was when the released the sufferer and the witness. But i love old and new, dont like AtR as much as the others coz i dont think the vocal melodies are as good. Playing a mix of all is best so they please all fans.
i think siren song of the counter culture is sooo great. every song is perfect. but revolution per minute has this great song blood, red, white & blood. This song is so amazing. The sufferer and the witness is a real intelligent album. It has many great songs like ready to fall, injection or prayer of the refugee. But appeal to reason is not the real ra style. Re-education is ok, but the album sucks.
so cool this up on here. i dont even listen to these guys anymore but my homie and i were at this show. Tim was really cool and i even sat down and talked to him before the show. good times.
who dont like this band, dont know whats true good music.
Tim looks very happy 😊
Looks like it was a great gig - so cozy, fun... like playing for friends! 😊
Great video - thank you for sharing! 👍🌈
I fucking love how
tim almost seems like he looks at each one of the
kids.
FUCK!
it was the same wheni saw them in london.
FUCK sucha a great band!
Imagine if they would already written 'Give It All' and played it there. It would probably be their best performance of it ever.
i love
how when tim sings
its almost as if he looks at eacha nd every kid there!
One of teh most insane bands ive seen live!
2:43 - Always nice to see someone enjoying them self and being happy with what they're doing
i saw them at brixton a few weeks ago - i hope you've seen them by now
Just now my gf broke up with me after a year. This song really describes me at the moment. I may be sad, let down, broken, but the positivety this song has is keeping my head up straight , it's giving motivation to keep on going with my life. There's a lot of "fish" in the sea they say.

You physically recorded this at the show?
you sir are a gentlemen and a scholar. cheers
Legend!
thank you for this
1:51 Tim's like "This is it... this is how I die..."
The fact that they're live performances sound so close to the studio versions just shows how freaking amazing they are. They don't need audio editing to sound adequate - that sound fantastic just as they are.
saw them at least 3 different times at chain reaction 10 years ago in high school, i feel so old! THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing this. seriously just made my day
A long time ago my brother gave me Revolutions Per Minute. That CD changed my life.
Haven't seem them live yet, I only discovered RA a year ago.
I wish I was old enough to see them live in the good old days :(
Gotta love old rise against
My fav Rise Against song.
I LOVE THIS BAND.

Best song ever made by them!
Rise against rocks the world
I wish they didn't always do this song acoustic, both are amazing with amazing lyrics!
loved the random dude that came in and sang along
tim's reaction was great too haha
they didnt retire this song, they havent retired any of their songs, at every show they always play a few random old songs, theyre a band that still knows how to play every one of their songs, they just never play this song like this anymore, tim just does it on an acoustic himself now
best song ever written!
shit!im gonna cry,i wish they could play now like that!!i think that was the best live they had ever did!!!!
No problem. I took it, but I'm happy to have it shared with the world. RA forever. I just wish I had the forethought to do a better job. I had no idea they would take off like they did.
Best live performance eva!
I filmed this at Chain Reaction Anaheim in July 2003. I'm glad people like it.
this song will always be my favorite. it never fails to be awseome. nuff said
awesome! haha 1:50 Tim is so scarred ;D
Do you have other videos of this show?I only have Heaven Knows, Voices Off Camera and Alive and Well, do you know where I can download the others?
Man tim has changed so much from then.. damn i love rise against.
Tim looks so happy, it's awesome xD

I filmed this show. Glad you like it. I have the whole set as individual mpegs. I'll try to upload the rest tonight. Keep an eye out.

BEST SONG AND LIVE EVER

thats so fucking sweet and funny, very active crowd lol
Sad but sooo true... It's exactly the same thing for me...
this is the best version :)
@fuze49 maybe not this version but i think they still play the acoustic version.
They played this live last night an no-one around me knew the lyrics....I was so ashamed of the new fans Rise Against have attracted
sure the acoustic version is good but this.. this is so much better
lol....?
they didn't retire.
They played the download festival last month, and they ae bringing out a new album in like 6 months
i love this video so much i always come back
1:48 Tim is like wtf? XD
AWESOME!!!
I hope people realize that this show was from 2003 and not 2006. Its very unlikely that you will ever get a chance to see Rise Against play this live.
this is the real rise against !!
i feel exactly the same way!
Couldnt agree more with u!
I started to listen to Rise Against in 2003 when I was 9 because my brother was 16 at the time and got me into Revolutions Per Minute.

Dude, you couldn't be more right.

normally i'd say its a perfect gig but many ppl say that perfect means boring... so i seek for a word meaning perfect but is not related to beredom... Whatever: best band and great gig

i can understand that your very angry, but listen to ready to fall, that is the most important song of ra.

The unravling is good album, but it's not the music everyone likes.
They need a rise against rock band
was this their first guitarist? Mr Prescition?
AGREE
Too bad Tim has lost some of his vocal chops... He ain't bad by any stretch, but he has just gotten older.
They're still freakin' ace live!
The person hold the camera got lost when Tim ducked at 2:16 lol
I miss Tim's long hair.
id give all my money to
rise against and gallows and odd bit of nofx thats all you need for music these days
'Member when rise against were good
I 'member... :(
of cause. i love the unraveling, but i mean that more people buy appeal to reason. some people say that this album is full of "screaming music". idiots. no one understand rise against...

1:48 is funny lol
I agree
@AvarageRAfan actually I saw them in 08 with alkaline trio and they did this version and it was fucking awesome!!!!
"The unravling is good album, but it's not the music everyone likes." What the hell? Don't give a fuck about what the most people like. RA should play what they like, nothing else
how old is this??
@ThisIsTheNewViolence why not?
rise against! i dont want them to get popular.... love them as they are!
i would not call them famous... you rarely hear them on the radio, there are many people who have no clue who they are and they are unable to sell out large scale venues like madison square garden... so no, i'm not late.
@Omar5674
That would be me. Yeah, I did lose him. I suck at filming :)

RA them selfs said they prefer newer stuf to old, that was when the released the sufferer and the witness. But i love old and new, dont like AtR as much as the others coz i dont think the vocal melodies are as good. Playing a mix of all is best so they please all fans.
so young
wow was i stoned when i wrote that? wow hahaha it makes no sense.
i think siren song of the counter culture is sooo great. every song is perfect. but revolution per minute has this great song blood, red, white & blood. This song is so amazing.
The sufferer and the witness is a real intelligent album. It has many great songs like ready to fall, injection or prayer of the refugee.
