  • Helsinki, Finland’s southern capital, sits on a peninsula in the Gulf of Finland. Its central avenue, Mannerheimintie, is flanked by institutions including the National Museum, tracing Finnish history from the Stone Age to the present. Also on Mannerheimintie are the imposing Parliament House and Kiasma, a contemporary art museum. Ornate red-brick Uspenski Cathedral overlooks a harbor.

Never make videos in portrait mode. Many viewers use TV or some other fix display. We cannot turn our display 90 degrees. Your video is just a narrow strip in the middle of my large TV. Rest of the picture is just black.

Note the pronunciation of Helsinki! In Finnish language the stress is always on the first syllable. 👌
So it’s HELsinki👍, not HelSINki😣 as foreigners too often say…😞
And typical Finn always thinks twice he says nothing.🤐
