Thank you. I did my very best. If you can show me how to play that song right i'll be more than happy. I teach myself by ear, I have no clue when it comes to musical theory
Such a great beat in the song and in your playing, smooth, relaxed enjoyment. I love the rhythm just after the solo ends, That 5th string the bass note, delicious.

Thanks man!!! To be frank, I don't even know if I play it right. I got it by ear as I always do. It sounds OK to me, and it's all I care about. Thanks again!
Please don't take this video as a tutorial, because I'm sure I don't play that song the exact way it should be played. When it comes to learning a song, my only advice to you is to use your ears first. My way of learning a song is first listening to it carefully a sh!it load of times, then play over it a sh!it load of times. Along the way I figure out bits and pieces that I stitch up together in the end to make a full song. Am I accurate? I don't know, and I don't care too much about it. To be honest, most people can't tell.
I always thought this was a killer song with really great riffs. I was watching alot of others play it and they were all missing a few things here and there. Not only are you not missing those certain notes, you almost have that songs particular amp and distortion settings dialed in. Very few nuanced parts of your playing were actually different from the song so I had a tough time telling the difference between your playing and Firehouse's. Excellent work!
I'm very sorry for the late response. Your landscape videos are so beautiful!!!! I watched 'em all and liked 'em all ( I subbed BTW ). I'm a french speaker from Canada with poor english writing skills and I'm quite a bit hammered right now. I'm not a good guitar player because I never took it seriously. I play by ear alone without any knowledge of theory. I'm pretty sure that song is not played the way I play it or, if it is, I'm fucking lucky! Don't learn from me. This said, I thank you and hope you'll post other videos on the beauty of your part of the world.
Hi David! I started playing in 1983. Back then all I had for learning how to play songs were a tape cassette player and my ears. I really don't recommend learning from tabs ,or from watching me play. Try some easy songs first like: 'Ten seconds to love' from Mötley Crüe (first song I could play though), Knock'em dead kid, also by Mötley Crüe, both from the album Shoot at the Devil. Then as you are training your ear try more challenging songs. It is basically how I did, and still do.
Getting nice comments from far better guitarists than I am is an honor for me. Thanks a lot my friend! BTW, I subbed you. I really want to hear/see more from you.
Thanks for posting brother, tone is perfect along with the playing! I assume your using a POD, matches almost identical to the album! I wish you lived near you lol, about the same age and single for years. Been playing since 77 and just love all this old stuff! We certainly lived in the perfect time for good O'le hair band rock amen! I can spend hours playing this stuff until the neighbors three hours later come complaining lol! Your playing is nice and tight also! Rock on my friend, rock on!
Sorry for the very, very, very... late answer. I was going through some hard times which - I hope - are over now. Thank you very much for your feedback and your encouraging words. It helps a lot. Thanks again my friend :)

Your equipments, your sounds are good enough, I am sure it sounded the same, atleast for me! I always have been FH fan since I was a teenage. I wish I had one of those sound equipments!
Thank you for the nice comment. I'm sure I'm not playing that song as it should be played, but I'm close enough. I'm very happy you enjoyed. You don't need to buy expensive gear to have fun playing the guitar. Look for used gear. In this video I play with less than 1k canadian dollars of gear (1k if you add the camera. The computer and the software was free)
@@marcpariat5350 I would definitely be happy to check them out if you mention all the sound equipments you used to sound exactly the same, that you can get em with 1k Canadian dollar. Thx again
Three or four years ago ( I don't remember) the RP360 cost me around 350 CAD (Brand new), but I saw recently that it's price went down to about 235 CAD (brand new). The price of the guitar I play in this video was over 800 CAD, but I bought it used for 300 CAD. I use Sennheiser hd 280/380 pro headphones I had before, and a computer that I got for free. I use Linux and Audacity for my mixes (also available on Windose and Mac). the camera I have cost me 400 CAD (OLYMPUS TOUGH). Great camera for the price. So, around 1k CAD can get you going, I'm sure you are smarter than me so you should be able find better deals than me.
@@A.Naga182 I don't know what to say... I am a very shy and humble person. I started this channel because of my grandsons. I never expected that anyone would like to see and hear me play the guitar other than my close family and friends. This is frankly stressing me out. I can't do any better than what you saw and heard. I don't know if I'll upload something soon. I'm working on some other songs. If you want, I can post Dropbox links to some preliminary audio of some covers I'm planing to make. This said, thank you very much once again my friend! Sorry for the long post.
Merci!!
Toi, comment fais-tu?
The 7 string you see me play is tuned one whole step down. I use a pitch shifter to be in tune with this song, which is one half step down from standard 440.
