Just a heads up, if you are working on a 2020 F900XR like I was, the center grey section and side fairings are actually reversed. The grey center unclips directly up and pulls away after you remove the 4 screws giving direct access to the air filter. Side fairings have the hidden bolt on the top on each side under the center plastic.
Nice video, quick question 6.33 into the video you show the fairing from the inside which shows the silver blade that attaches to the tank, is this 2 pieces as I see 3 screws or are the silver blades and tank a complete piece?
On the initial teardown, which took about an hour or so to figure out, I had two piles of screws, left and right sides. I took the right side apart first. After I figured it out and put it back together, I was like....hmmm somethings not right. This screw which I mentally marked for the radiator seems too short and now this one isn’t grabbing. Lol so it a little trial and error. But there’s only 2 on the left and 3 on the right. Not counting the T30s for each knee plate, which are odd enough to stand out. Lol

Nice thx for your video ✌️
Good job Jon! Do you have a manual or something about the F900R that give to you all the information about the process?
hello man good day, great video by the way. just wanna ask what brand of filter are you going to install on your f9?

Good video,thank's 👍
do you find any difference with the new air filter?
Did you memorise where the longer and where the shorter screws were originally? :)

I have the 900XR and while it's not complicated to pull them apart, they have more screws than I've had shits.
How do you like this bike?
Camera is too shaky
