  • In this video I go over the brand new CG-Single Step Aider from Backwoods Mobile Gear. This is a single step moveable aider that functions similarly to a versa aider for the Tethrd One Sticks. This aider stays attached to your foot and moves with you up the tree. No fishing for it in on the way down either because it stays attached to your foot. You can purchase it for $38.99 on backwoodsmobilegear.com

Man I love your reviews. Just bought one for my one sticks for one reason, SAFETY. Many times on a leaner I have been hanging in the dark searching for my DIY single step. Those days are gone and I’m excited to use these this coming season.

I’ve tried so many aiders, this is the ONE! Absolute ease and I feel really secure with it 🤙🏻

Why can’t I use the original versa-aider with the Tethrd versa button?

I would like to know also....can't find a solid explanation anywhere.

Hey Spencer, thanks for the great videos! I've been using a modified hand climber as both my climbing method and platform and then rappel down, which has worked good, but slow to use to ascend the tree....I'm trying to settle on a different method. I've got several different sticks, 20" hawks, buck steps, lone wolf, etc....I've toyed with different aiders, strap-on steps, etc....I hunt remote, mountainous terrain and need low-weight and low fiddle factor. You've climbed a tree in just about every way a guy can....When it's all said and done, what is your favorite climbing/platform/descending setup? Thanks.

Enjoyed this video. I was wondering out of all the saddles that you have used , which is your favorite?
