The famicom version is somewhat improved. For example the jump button is mapped to “A” as it should be. Also some level layouts are more friendly. But the core of the game remains so still frustrating. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I paid real 1990 money to get that game when it came out. I literally got stuck on the same part you did and haven't played it since.

Can't believe you walked the top of level 3-1, I've never been able to do that. I always went thru the bottom.
This was the 3rd NES, and 3rd overall game I've played, and I was never able to get past the stupid waterfall level.

Data East made Tattoo Assassins, they cannot feel shame. Bob Gale also worked on Tattoo Assassins, so I guess he can't feel shame either.
I loved this stupid game as a kid. Thought it was so cool turning into a werewolf with blade arm things and the music pumped me up. Looking back on it now, it hasn't aged well. BUT, the fact that the main character is actually named "Warwolf" is kind of great.
I'm not making suggestions, but more reminders. Just in case you felt like trying any of these.
There was that Zelda clone on master system, I can't remember it's name, but it might have been cool. Even if it sucks cock though, could be a good stream.
There's the Oasis game on genesis.
LandStalker was pretty cool, at least as far as I played it. It does have like a 2 or 3 minute unskippable intro, but after that it's pretty straight forward. I got stuck in the 2nd or 3rd dungeon, and there were a bunch of spiky floors. But up until that point, it was pretty interesting.
If you felt like a Gauntlet type, there's that Hammerwatch game on steam. I've played a good amount of that. I don't know if you'd want to play it to full completion, but I got a good amount of hours out of it. It's a fun enough game.
There's also an rpg on nes that has towns and an overworld like final fantasy, but then instead of turn based battles, it takes you in to a Zelda 1 type of instanced battle. I thought it was Fantasy Zone, but I looked and it wasn't that. It's called something else, can't remember. (I know, helpful right?)
Lastly, if you want a good laugh, there's a Jurassic Park game on Genesis. There's a few of them. One of them seems quite good, but that's not the one I'm suggesting...
There's one that's a side scrolling shmup. You play as Sam Niel, and immediately when you start the game, he jumps on the back of a galaminos, screams "YEEEHAW!" and pulls out a fucking Mac-10 submachine gun, and you start blowing up dinosaurs, and sending them straight to hell.
My buddy was just trying stuff on his everdrive when that one came up and it was so unexpected, just hearing that "YEEHAW!", and then everything that came after, we were out of breath laughing. I was trying to say over the laughter that "whoever made this, they never saw the movie". They probably saw some promo material, saw Sam Niel, and thought he was obviously some kind of cowboy. It was fuckin wild, worth checking out. Even if you just threw it on for a moment at the end of a stream.
Oh Kool was just playin this game not too long ago.

As a kid that game was pure trauma. I couldn't get past the waterfall level until years later... on an emulator! I'm surprised you guys haven't done an AVGN episode for this piece of 💩
this looks like it was supposed to be a marvel game main character could have been wolverine there's juggernaut and thosse bad guys at the level with the annoying alarm are 100% hellfire club goons which the bad guy kinda looks like the big baddy in this

Ich habe das Spiel vor kurzen gespielt und werde es für ein kommendes Halloween Video aufjedenfall nochmals spielen.
Die Musik ist cool, das verwandeln in einen Werwolf ebenfalls. Leider ist das Gameplay, als auch das Leveldesign, nicht unbedingt ausgewogen.
Das Spiel ist aber sehr harsch vom Schwierigkeitsgrad und leider sehr kurz.
Aufjedenfall nicht wirklich gut, aber auch nicht wirklich schlecht.

I used to semi hate Mike and James Mondays but after a few watches it grew on me a ton and now I miss it so much
What did you not like about it? Me I assume.
@@mikematei I just didn't like anything that strayed away from Nerd videos but after watching a few James and Mike Mondays I quickly loved the combo.
@@mikematei I'll be honest I actually liked the James and Mike videos more than Nerd vids after a while because the Novelty of a guy yelling in edited video form can get stale.
