This was great and I am very glad that I didn't dismiss this video. This is such a great interview, I wish there will be more communication of this quality about the dance world . Thank you from Montréal, Canada.

Sylvie is so wonderful. I think of her incredible endless bows in her farewell performance. It was really one of the most beautiful things I've seen. She was perfection. She tirelessly gave every ounce of respect to the audience in the throes of honoring her. She bowed and bowed and bowed honoring the deep need the audience had to express their love and respect for her. She was extraordinary.

The way Madame Guillem bowed for the audience was honestly one of the most beautiful things I have seen and felt. I had the great honour of seeing her perform in person three times, near the end of her career. Each time, I could see in each of the bows the depth of the respect she held for the audience and for the audience - that was truly incredible. It was from then that I began noticing how the most extraordinary dancers and performers tend to share that - this immense respect, gratitude, and admiration for their art. What a privilege and joy to have seen it.

Sylvie is so wise,🤩 I love listening to her speak about the art of dance and artists as individuals. She truly understands dance as an art form and what it means to be an artist that makes ART vs. one that repeats the technique that has been taught. Big difference! same in the visual arts (fine art).

She is the most the greatest ballerina ever she is more than than a ballerina. She is on a different plan at stratosphere. She’s just amazing. She is so beautiful so cool so incredibly strong so gifted so unique my second favourite is Natalia. Thank you for the interview.

What an extraordinary woman and superb dancer. To have a mentor like Nureyev, combined with her determination and vision of who she wanted to be as an artist, is very inspiring.

J'adore sylvie, sa simplicité, et le fait qu'elle dise non (mademoiselle NON) à ce miroir aux alouettes qu'est la chirurgie esthétique à l'instar des Bardot ou Delon.

She says about Ghislaine Thesmar the thing I've been always feeling, how enjoyable it is to see a woman dancing (more than a dancer dancing)! But if I have to say 'Sylvie', I just say God because to me that's what she is.

I'm very interested to learn the great David Hallberg (whom I saw dance in New York) is now artistic director of Australian Ballet. That's quite an honor to go from danseur noble to artistic director. And he's American, too! I well remember his dancing - remarkable!
