9:28 the sound and the movement that Shakira made is a reference to her arabian roots and the Carnaval of Barranquilla, the city where she was born, because this thing she made indicates happiness and well, that day was her birthday and she had the amazing opportunity of presenting in the Super Bowl.
19:09 This song is called "Waka-waka", the song of the 2010 soccer World cup. And the dancing after it, is a music genre called "Champeta" which is really important and characteristic from the cities of Cartagena de Indias, Barranquilla and the caribbean coast of Colombia in general, most of us learn to dance it since our childhood because is really representative of our culture.
Evidently, as a colombian person I can tell you how proud we were of seeing elements of our culture in the presentation. Also, the group that danced with J Lo at the end is a colombian group that comes from the city of Cali, the temple of salsa music.

Lol yes the soccer song you mentioned is called “Waka Waka” and was used for the 2010 FIFA World Cup that was held in South Africa. Ahhh that was a moment time! Spectacular performance! People wasn't ready for so much culture.Some people cant get over the fact that 2 strong, talented, influential, sexy Latinas burned this stage. It makes them uncomfortable that these 2 artists are comfortable with who their roots. They both showcase a little taste of what Latin america is in their unique styles. Shakira showed a multi cultural, multi talented performance and JLo made a strong political statement alongside her daughter. This is the best half time show I can remember. Each of them deserved their own Super bowl show. Great reaction!!

That was a great reaction. Now, time to do what I am good at... post the trivia and boy is there a lot in here. Some of it have already been mentioned in the comments so I will not mention them, unless there is more to it. Without further ado...
- Shakira's red outfit is inspired by her character, Gazelle, in Zootopia
- Shakira is Colombian/Lebanese, hence the belly dancing and tongue sounds
- Both artist had guest from the other's culture. Shakira (Colombian) with Bad Bunny (USA/Puerto Rico) and JLo (USA/Puerto Rico) with J. Balvin (Colombian)
- During JLo's daughter's (Emme) performance, there were political statements. The kid's being in cages at the beginning was a reference to reports of ICE putting Hispanic kids in cages before deporting. Singing "Born in the USA" with the Puerto Rican flag at the end was a reminder that Puerto Rican are indeed American, which many people to this day still don't understand that concept.
- During Emme's performance, there were no boys on stage. This was accompanied by the female symbol while singing JLo's "Let's Get Loud." This was a symbol for Girl Power.
- The last song was Shakira's "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)," which is the official song for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. This actually had to meanings. The first is that it ended with a song for Africa as the song is for Africa. The second is that the song is about soccer, known world-wide as football.
- Shortly before the Superbowl, Kobe Bryant passed away. As a last minute tribute, from Waka Waka to the end of the performance, the stage lights became the LA Lakers Purple and Yellow.
- The last dance performances represented the singer's culture, with Shakira doing Colombian Champeta and JLo doing Puerto Rican Salsa in the Las Vegas style.
