This is disrespectful to the individualists, both because the individualists arent crazy or stupid as they're being made out to be (they are in a relationship of mutual exploitation with Trump, rather than believing that the election was stolen as such, for example), AND because respect is about reflecting others back to themselves as they really are, and not as they wish to be taken, which this other segment of the population refuses to do. Eventually there will be a new "balance" or "equilibrium", as happened in the 60s and 70s, and the individualists will be re-absorbed into the status quo, and the cycle will begin again..
