*first time playing today* *get a couple of kills, think you’re pretty decent* *but at the end of the round you realise you were fighting against bots*
People need to buy this game. I know it released close to COD. But it's just so much better. It's so fun. Having a blast with it. And TF2 and battlefield r totally different. Hope sales pick up on it. I want a 3rd game eventually for it
Lionblood Studios I like titanfall 2 but the population on PC is so shit it's not as fun when you can only play one game mode. It's upsetting that EA was retarded enough to try to just slide it in between IW and BF1. Hopefully some people will get it after Christmas but I don't see it coming back.
Sliq yeah your right I'm sure. But I really hope sales pick up. I'm not expecting it. It's my favorite shooter franchise and it will really be upsetting for me if they don't have a game
Lionblood Studios I just bought the game and I'm looking forward to playing! Guys don't leave and stay active on the game and eventually the population will be good!
It's good to point out that slotting a battery in a friendly titan not only helps ur team but also gives you a HUGE boost in your tactical score, helping you summon ur titan much faster!
Jerryx the thing is that they don’t try the movement as much and it gets infuriating when they map me with a spitfire. I have run across the map in the first thirty seconds to melee the first guy I see is super fun but I don’t see as many people doing that just staying on building and towers
@@redshadow3356 I literally had a match where a guy was camping in a building with a shotgun. I sucks surviving a fire fight only to get hit by some guy with his back against the wall
That's what Titanfall is ^^ if you spend more time on the ground or on buildings than in the air, you're not exploiting the full capabilities of the game. That was true for the first game, it's still true for the second game. You should be the guy who jumps all over the place ;). Best way to train is to do the first mission, or go on a solo private game (you should be able since the last patch). Learn how to slide hop (I believe Tony Mo will do a video on this), and ALWAYS use a wall to move, that's really really important, don't walk, that's bad.... Slide hop is very easy, and once you know how to do it, you have to learn air strafe. That will be the key to master wall run properly.
Another game that could really help you in mobility with very similar mechanics would be warframe. The game does a lot of wall running and lots of sliding and a few other things. Just food for thought.
long time Destiny player first time TF player. I'm definitely looking for more videos like this that helps explain the mechanics of the game. Most of the time I have no idea what's going on and it's so different from Destiny so guides like this a must. Thanks!
Its nice to see that videos like these are coming up and giving such in depth support. I for one never really played Titanfall and I found it frustrating in the beginning but with time I grew to love its aspects. Cheers for giving a helping hand and I look forward to more videos from you=)
zTragiic i have tried out Tone since my comment i like Tone, I'll try out Northstar next time i play thanks for suggestion. And also i agree i found Legion too slow on firerate
Tip for Northstar he has no deffense abilitys so you have to litarly stay away from the enemy that said Ronin well be your enemy so avoid him at all cost. You well find Ronin behind you if you are not aware of your surroundings
BloodEmPrince no let the ronin come at you (use the double trap kit) use your traps shoot while backing away slowly try to get a fully charged hit on his crit it will take half his health . The closer he gets the faster you want to get away lead him around the map with traps and shots so that he either has to give up die or leave
I'm annoyed I didn't get this game sooner. It is freakin loads of fun. I literally played first match like 2 hours ago and fell in love with it. Some seriously cool stuff going on here. I hope the community stays alive for a good long time.
Hey Tony. Great video. I'm as noob to Titanfall 2 as you can be, but i find your tutorials to be informative and entertaining without having to dog other players or their abilities. Keep up the good work and i wish you the best in the future.
finished the campaign and started multiplayer yesterday. Most fun on a game since the other tf2. Wall riding feels natural and I'm just lasering people. Incredible game, even if old.
I've been playing COD since mw2 and I've even switched to battlefield when bf4 came out, and I was a pretty above average player in those games. I bought titanfall 2 because it looked like so much fun and I ABSOLUTELY suck at it. I stink like hot garbage. But the game is still one of the most fun games I've ever played, even when I can go 2-20 in a match. That's truly a sign of a nearly perfect FPS game and I wish more people would play it for this reason
Most important beginner tip in 2021: grow thick skin. Lobbies are populated by absolute virgin chads who will trick shot you with their Kraber across the map upon spawning in... every single time.
Tony, I thought this was going to develop into a "Beginners Guide" series which I believe is badly needed to grow the community. I have heard several new players complain it is too complicated to learn and thus leave. You could impact the community, greatly!
I really want to stress that point of not clumping all your teams titans in one hallway. Every game I see 3 or 4 people on each team shooting down a narrow corridor at each other and it is just a slaughterfest. All it does is make it impossible to dodge enemy shots while also causing your team to block most of yours. I've gotten so many multikills from using a Scorch and dropping the incendiary trap then watching as the clump of enemies trip over each other trying to escape the flames. I've seen Tone wipe enemy teams with a good salvo, and I've seen a Ronin phase walk into the middle of the pack and nuclear eject for a clean sweep. It really seems like it would be common sense, but man the number of times I have to tell my team to spread out a little is insane.
I decided to get this game, I know it's 4 years old now but the online community is still active which really surprised me! The wait time for a match is a couple seconds it's cool to see this game is not dead and it is a really smooth game. Definitely will be playing this more often I got sick of Call of duty games especially Coldwar they don't feel the same compared to titanfall such an underrated game.
"You wouldn't wanna be caught like that." Yeah you wouldn't catch me playing Tone for PvP lol. Nah I'm just screwing around. Love to see the player base increase both quality and skill though. I know I could afford to play better.
Awesome vid. I think addressing situational awareness was a good call. I would also call fatal funnels (doorways/windows) a huge issue for players who are struggling with approach.
Random fact: I thought when I picked up Titanfall 2, I would shit myself if i saw my first enemy titan. I was vey wrong, for some reason my first instinct was to try and steal the battery XD
Never stop playing the game. I was top of the leaderboard in titanfall 1 and 2 almost every game and then I stopped playing titanfall 2 for a while and now I suck and I’m barely improving even though I play for hours everyday and before I stopped playing I was improving every game.
Tip for new players: Dont use the monarch titan, it requires you to survive for a long time and get many kills to be as powerful as the other titans. Monarch can power up a lot though, a fully powered monarch is basically the most powerful thing in the game
Great video tonymo. One burning question I have is how does the minimap tell you where enemy pilots are? I'm getting whacked real quick because I simply can't tell where the enemy is. I've never played COD so I'm a complete noob !!!!

If Respawn gave the Kraber a Firestar rounds mod for the first mod slot, I'd play a hell of a lot more. The Kraber is a one hit kill, but has projectile speed, a drop on said projectile, terrible non-scoped accuracy and no crosshair hipfiring, slow as fek reload, a small clip size and no AoE. A sniper with heavy scope requirements, projectiles that demand leading a target... And it only works against pilots and minor NPC foes. Titans, turrets and the like take nothing for damage from the Kraber, using it on grunts and bots wastes time and flashes you on the map as an easy target. The Kraber barely works as a Pilot killer, is pointless to use on grunts and bots, but is also useless against titans and turrets. It excels at nothing. Even if you call it a showpony weapon... ANYTHING can be a showpony weapon with choice mods. Any weapon with rebounding rounds and a headshot, for example. With Firestar rounds, the Kraber could become a proper anti-materiel rifle. Break turrets. Annoy and burn titans. Burn small groups of grunts... And while difficult as usual, its lethality against pilots would be essentially unchanged. Can we get some fellas to badger Respawn for this? Or do thwy no longer care about the game...?
my problem isnt the mobility as a pilot, my problem is i cant hit shit while wallrunning, sliding or jumping, so i either have to stop to get a chance of killing pilots while becoming a fish in a barrel OR i keep jumping around in hopes ill hit him eventually
Yeah flanking. I feel like I'm the only one who does this. The start of a match I would get three executions. Even if I tell my team to flank they just go straight at the enemy.
Watching this as I really want to get better at Titanfall 2 and holy shit I did not know i could steal an enemy's battery and give it to a teammate in a titan!!!
awesome video with so many great tips for newcomers! as someone with hours and hours into the game i can emphatically vouch for how applicable this all is to success.
If I wanted to learn more about this game, strategies, high level play and the likes. Who should I look for in RUclips? Really interested in learning how to play this game
I'm subscribed to your channel, but for some reason your videos don't show up on my subscription page. I wouldn't even have known about this video if I hadn't manually checked your channel. What's up with that? Also, thanks for the video. While I've only played half a dozen matches so far, and am already becoming exponentially better than when I started(map familiarity is my main problem), it's always great to hear tips and tricks from someone who actually knows what they're doing, lol. Keep it up, love the channel.
+FuseUnison thanks Fuse! As for the sub box issue, RUclips made a change a while back that requires you to enable notifications for each channel. If you click the little gear icon on my main page you can turn them on. Keep on playing dude! I'm still learning myself when it comes to the maps. There's so much to them and lots of hidden routes to uncover.
I just started playing TF2 MP yesterday- My Initial thoughts after being really annoyed after 3 matches was trying to find and target pilots but it is very difficult (i understand idk the maps, flanks and mechs yet) but when i was hunting grunts because there orange blip showed on the mini map was only a noob trap!!!! because XP players i think understand a noob will hunt them and i was targeted by my blip. And i noticed the same players killing me either flanking and longshots.
I created a club on Xbox, "Casually Competitive Gaming" new titanfall players are more than welcome. I created the club so ppl always have a group of ppl to play with if they so choose. also it helps with avoiding the toxic behavior of others.
I bought the game 3 days ago and i can't even learn, every game is a steamroll they win by 500 points and i have 3 kills at the end. I have no idea what to do
I’m here because I got the game 2 days ago and I get in games of people like gen 10s and I’m level 23 and my team are maximum gen 2 and the whole other team at gen 3s plus How does that work?!?!? New players are just going to walk away from the game I nearly did too Edit: Day 3 I honestly feel like quiting ngl because I have played hours today and only became second last once and the rest last of my team
the only and only bad thing about game is the huge range of matchmaking (if there is one). but on the other hand, great players are usually focused on playing forward and parkouring around which allows you to hunt them from well placed locations. just dont run after them :D But still, this MM deal can still cause a huge difference wins and looses. Dont get frustrated, try to get better instead by taking a beat.
*first time playing today*
*get a couple of kills, think you’re pretty decent*
*but at the end of the round you realise you were fighting against bots*
And you use tone (no names mentioned)
Green Beans For life the issue with tone isn’t because he’s OP it’s the fact that every single part of his kit requires either no aim or some aim.
Same 😂
The other team had like 32 kills and it was one guy...
Wait we’re you playing campaign lol
People need to buy this game. I know it released close to COD. But it's just so much better. It's so fun. Having a blast with it. And TF2 and battlefield r totally different. Hope sales pick up on it. I want a 3rd game eventually for it

Starco fan 06 It's hard to compare the two games. One is more large scale war sandbox and the other is fast paced arena shooter with robots.
Got it yesterday and played for 10 hours. I'm lvl 40 as of this morning
How? Tell me urban secrets
What level are you now
Did you play the campaign?
@@timorouw5555 campaign is kinda ez so it's not hard to complete it fast

Anyone else here in 2019 because it’s free on ps4
yup... this game is so hard but enjoyable. wish there weren't so many campers though...
@@ruikirisame1744 Well, many people who are new to the game don't feel very confident imitating Spider-Man in this game, doesn't really surprise me

6:09 - Legion actually CAN shoot through friendly titans and use them as shields. This was confirmed in a Titanfall mythbuster episode.
any chance you could cover pilot mobility in a bit more depth? I'm struggling vs. Pilots who just jump all over the place like maniacs.
+Ser Lusk absolutely, I have something in the works right now.
Tony Mo sounds great, I can't wait. great content as always!

Eh, warframe is easy to move fast from the get go. Takes about 2 minutes to master lol where as titan fall takes awhile, days or even weeks

Or do thwy no longer care about the game...?

it is the Volt

How does that work?!?!? New players are just going to walk away from the game
I nearly did too
Edit: Day 3
I honestly feel like quiting ngl because I have played hours today and only became second last once and the rest last of my team
I have that same issue, it makes it harder to learn or even enjoy the game if your constantly getting killed
I was your 26th sub
the only and only bad thing about game is the huge range of matchmaking (if there is one). but on the other hand, great players are usually focused on playing forward and parkouring around which allows you to hunt them from well placed locations. just dont run after them :D
But still, this MM deal can still cause a huge difference wins and looses. Dont get frustrated, try to get better instead by taking a beat.
Just purchased this game today
I just started playing a couple days ago I got the bunny hopping thing down all I need now it the air strafing
