I find it hard to believe you found cash and change in that bank. I am pretty sure that bank triple checked every square inch of that place. There can't be an inventory check like a bank inventory! Every dollar and penny would be accounted for well before they close the building. Just my "two cents"...

There used to be a bank in the middle of my village, (yes, I live in a really small town) and then they ran out of business. They abandoned it for like, 5 years. Then, they did some work on the building and they fixed up the inside and the outside. After they were done, they turned it into a restaurant. They put in a drive thru window and a speaker so they can take your order. I am in love with this place. I don't miss that old bank at all.

In the safe deposit box room, note that all the locks are made of BRASS. That's so that a lock can be drilled out easily if that should be needed.
The money was obviously placed there the dollar bills were too flat to have been just left there, your channel will not get far unless you are honest with your viewers

So, that area in the end that you were calling the bank vault is just the lockboxes. That's where customers have rented out a lockbox to store their valuables and other things in, which is way different than a money vault. There would be no cash or valuables in there anymore as if a bank closes, the owners of the lock boxes are given a notice to get their stuff, and if they don't before it closes, then all the unclaimed lock boxes are emptied out and taken to another location. That's why some of them are open, and others are closed. The ones that are open were unclaimed boxes that had the locks drilled out of them for the bank to take. The area you were in first behind the teller line was the cash room, which that is where the money is stored. So the areas on the floor that is all dirty near the shelves is where the actual vault used to be. They're much smaller than you would expect as well as most banks don't keep that much cash on hand so that's why that room is quite small.
