horrifying? I mean I'd be quite shocked and concerned about how badly his career is doing but horrified? No I wouldn't be remotely scared. The tminute power hour where he was making a crunch wrap sold me... Give him enough time and patience and I'm sure he'll come up with something delicious. As long as you let him choose ingredients normally... And he's doing it under the impression of feeding you something good... if he was just doing a joke... My mash potatoe chart shows the frequency of good to bad is quite high on the bad side... Like if it was a slice of pie... The knives handles would have to be touching if two knives cut the good piece out at once.

If anyone is curious the reason why the guy on the bus turns and looks at you is because the stalker is sitting behind you. Then when you get off the bus and if you watch the bus leave you can see the stalker staring at you as the bus drives away.
I'm actually kinda sad they missed seeing that. Oh well...

A lot of people who play this game miss that, actually. As viewers, we get the benefit of being able to focus on whatever we like in the video, but people playing the game are often more focused on…well, playing the game*. It's a really neat detail, though! Awesome thing that Chillas put in for the people who're really paying attention.
*Not that that _necessarily_ applies to Arin, but you get the idea ;)
A whole month too late but I really love how different of a vibe I got from watching three playthroughs of this:
Markiplier's playthrough: *plays normally, but very well*
CallMeKevin's playthrough: *somehow oblivious to any subtle scary shit, and is only angry and confused when the scary stuff does happen*
Game Grumps' playthrough: Arin spends 2/3rd of an episode in anguish over being a barista, and turns into Skeletor as a result*
Power hour.

0 training.
No shirts.

I remember I was working in a Starbucks and at ten o'clock on a rainy night this guy stood right in front of the window and stared dead eyed into the store for like half an hour before disappearing while I wasn't looking. Which is all to say that this game accurately reflects the barista experience.

Just the thought of Skeletor working at a coffee shop, driving a car, taking the bus, pretty much any kind of mundane, slice of life activity, is just so hilarious to me.
As someone who had a minor creep experience that involved a guy I never spoke to being convinced I was in love with him because I smiled in his direction, this game does hit that unsettling nail on the head.

Unfortunately it's because so many men are lonely not that it's an excuse for his behaviour but it really is unfortunate how men misinterpret common kindness for affection because of it

@@RToast13 Definitely not, I know of at least one other that is popular, but I forget the game - It is a rare moment overall.
A lot of people complain about service jobs, (including me) but if you can find one where either the foot traffic isn't too terrible or you have a team that knows what they're doing, it can be a really great time once you know how to do everything. Working at an ice-cream parlor was one of the most fun jobs I ever had when I had someone else competent working with me.

As someone who worked at Starbucks a month before quitting, Arin reminds me of me having a panic attack every time a line started forming because I couldn't remember that the salted caramel didn't actually get caramel!!!

for context, the guy at the beginning with the "nihongo jouzu" dialogue was probably about him being a foreigner and speaking fluent Japanese. Makes a lot less sense when the whole game is translated to English with no voice acting

I've always loved it when Arin moves the mouse to indicate head movement, it's hilarious.
So I’m guessing the guy on the bus is the stalker, and broke the lady’s car to see her on the bus. And then got off at a later stop, to walk to the coffee shop…? I also watched Markiplier play this, and I believe I’m noticing more.
Kinda. The guy that looks back isn’t the stalker, the stalker was at the back of the bus and the guy was looking at him. If they looked at the bus window when it sped off they would’ve seen him.
That accent rev-up into Skeletor was beautiful
Of course, Dan and Arin would miss the very important convo the girls were having about the stalker

I watched this video a few months ago. In the last week I started playing Tiny Tina's Wonderland and after realizing Wanda Sykes played Frette I looked into the other voice actors and found out the demi lich companion was Arin now everytime the demi lich speaks all i can think about is skeletor running around a coffee shop. I am so grateful.
As a previous starbucks barista who previously had to deal with stalker issues, the scariest part of this is still somehow Arin not remembering which drinks are hot and cold. They say *chill* in the name 😱

Dan is such a chill dude, which makes it all the more enjoyable and hilarious when he gets pissed off at a game for terrifying him

Dan screaming at trash was everything. His scream scared me the most. Arin turning into Skeletor killed me. You can just hear him losing his sanity. For real, this whole game is creepy. working the graveyard shift and having weird guys walking by or hitting on you. Especially being alone. Even bringing your fears to a boss or someone in the workforce who can help, they brush you off. Very real thing that happens. I've felt uncomfortable like this being in public at night sometimes.

You could be fluent or you could be struggling to form sentence, they'll say this regardless to your foreign ass
