@@Fujitsu-General-Australia moved into a brand new apartment with Fujitsu units installed. WORST. EXPERIENCE. EVER. Why? Why? Why everything has to be that difficult? Why any other AC brand on the market is so logical and easy to use straight away. Why do I have to google how to do ANYTHING on Fujitsu?
Why anyone, jumping into ANY car, knows immediately how to make car interior cooler or warmer, why with fujitsu you have to have a dedicated degree to do the same? Argh…

While the Fujitsu remote has a poor layout, you only need to set your comfort temp and then decide whether you want to cool or heat. If you leave it in Auto mode the unit will heat and cool automatically depending on indoor temp. Switching it on and off makes for a less efficient unit. Just set and forget, has worked for us for over 3 yrs.

The remote on this device is shockingly unintuitive. I work in IT and I can't get this down after a half hour of poking at it and this video.
I've got to teach it to the 74 year old whose house it's in! This rem. control should have some simple buttons for people to just aim at the device and get it to start going, without having to fully understand how setting multiple timers, various sleep and swing modes come into play.
The owner's been going to sleep cold because she stands right in front of the exchanger pointing the remote at it hitting every button she can think of and can't get the device to turn on, or when it does it doesn't blow heat.....even though the mode the remote is set to is HEAT!
