If the flat is below the common terrace of the society bldg, and there is machinery of communication installed on the common terrace, that is causing leakage and the flat below is continuously facing leakage issue for many years, what can be done in such a case. The society managing committee is not responding to the issue and only doing eye wash repairs, can the committee be held responsible for any damages to the flat and his her life of family members who are living in it?
External Leakages are the responsibility of society. In case the committee is not resolving the issue, you may do Complaint to the Registrar office. Evidences should be attached for this.

@@anandarya6230 To defaulters you may send warning letters first and then damand notices. In case they are not responding then you can take legal action. You may refer Bye Laws No. 70 and 71. Committee should take initiative for this.

Opp number 1 is society. But society never attendant any call from the Court nor to the Cooperative department and hence the dispute I am sacred opponent remaining going on for 15 years. 😊 Is there no provision to Punish such office bearers were negligent totally.? @jayp5284 Society or Managing committee can not pass any resolution which is contrary to the bylaws. In case the General body majority passes such resolution then Registrar's approval is a must for such resolution.

If this transaction is within blood relation, then only membership transfer and share transfer charges should be paid. Rest amount no need to pay.

Only Managing Committee is responsible for no reply. You may request again in AGM why they are not responding

Complaints from non members not need to attend. Only bonafide members can raised complaint to the Society
