@@andreworr4307 I've sold leather jackets and padded jackets and pants for motorcycle riding at the flea market. People will still pay the money. I do my research and stay under the retail price and I still make good money.

That box sells for about $100. Craftsman brand originated with Sears and are guaranteed for life. You probably have $2-300 in tools there retail. You should have no trouble selling things. Or, take up motorcycle repair 🙃
😊😊A full set of racing leathers including boots and helmet . Sweet. Expensive items. My ex and I rode often. We both had racing leathers riding boots etc. Safety first! It wasnt cheap I'll tell you that! I suggest a good deep research on thisevitems. They are not cheap. Coupled w a good clean tool box. Not cheap. Jewelry gold is high right now. That necklace hanging seemed to still have tags. Earrings that are pierced you'll need to check the posts for the Mark's. I use the camera in my phone to zoom in on. But that's where they mark pierced earrings. On the post always. Great buy!!

Just ten bucks for such a small locker is always worth a gamble. And you found a little jackpot again, lucky you ! 👍 My personal favorites were the Elvis poster, the motorbike jacket, the helmet, the Husky tool box (bingo !), the jewelry box (bingo again with some gold !), the boots etc. etc. Congrats on probably a few hundreds bucks net value, well deserved ! The Sacagawea dollar is worth exactly 1 $, if you don´t collect them, you might spend it. I've had some "looks" when trying to use Sacagawea coins and even $2 bills when paying at some establishments. The $2 bills really throw people off! I wonder if the self-checkout machines would recognize those bills... If only there was a vintage shirt with Elvis in my size in the unit, that would have made it complete! Memorial Day weekend here, so plenty of picnics, parades, and little gatherings to honor those that gave their lives for our country. Hoping for a good turnout at the flea market tomorrow, we shall see!
@@PaperandMoose Sacagawea coins and 2 $ bills are both legal tender, but not very common in circulation, so if you like to puzzle employees at fast food chains, go ahead ! 😆 In Idaho, some folks even thought that the 2 $ bills were counterfeits ! 😂

Hello Renee. How amazing this unit is , is all I can say. The tools are great but you getting the motorcycle gear is the big money winner here. That stuff is never cheap. And it looks almost new. That tool box is worth a LOT more than $10!!!
If that tool box would have been in the front of the unit, clearly seen in any photographs for the online auction, there is no way it would have sold for only $10. I'd wager it probably would have sold for at least $100, if online bidders could see it was in there.

I almost bid on a storage auction for the first time today because of your videos. It was at $60, then $80 on a 5x10. I thought, that's not bad. Full of totes. Checked back later and it was at $230. So, nope. Maybe another time!
That happens all the time. The day this unit sold, there were several other units that were packed with totes & larger items, & those sold for big bucks. People were more interested in those than this unit that looked like trash bags & 1989 furniture.

I was going to use that for my title, but figured that most people would be able to tell from the start that there wasn’t a motorcycle in there & then stop watching.
Starting to look like this is your year. Don't want to jinx you though. Very important to be grateful for the good fortune you have had thus far. The tools and toolbox should bring you a decent profit, for sure. I'm guessing the biker jacket, pants, boots and helmet can also be of considerable value. Looks like you might need to do a little research. Good hunting. Good bargain. Best $10 value I've ever seen.

We always had grab bags we could chose for a prize at our gradeschool carnivals, and I always loved choosing them, since you could get something cool or end up with a dud. The storage locker auctions remind me of the grown-up version if a grab bag!!!❤❤❤

I think this locker is Jesus telling you that you need a vintage Hog - I've always liked Duo-Glides - to roll up on estate sales, flea markets, roadside trash (they make trailers and big saddlebags) and even Church rummage sales. No one would dare stick their hand in a tote you're looking through, even if Teddy Ruxspin is painted on the back of your leather jacket ("The Ruxspinners are a tough gang of ephemerists - I wouldn't mess with their paper if I were you" - or as my grandmother used to say more succinctly (usually during cards), "You touch that and you'll pull back a b****y stump!). I think you made your $10 with the Elvis poster. The Toolbox is boss - I bought a DeWalt socket set not quite that size for $189 a couple of years ago - so I bet it's worth $100. Put it on Marketplace. Also - I know Lowe's has Craftsman now, but when it was (originally) Sears' brand you could take any hand tool back for a replacement forever, I think. Don't know if Lowe's honors that. Great locker - too bad you couldn't muster much excitement😁. You will be Ms. "Gotrocks" for a while (as my grandmother also used to say) - try not to spend it all in one place (as she further said). You need to share more of this creativity! Your grandmother sounds pretty awesome, she probably had some great sayings! I did a quick Google search & it looks like Lowes does accept Craftsman tools, but there are all sorts of stipulations & warranty inquiries, so i seems pretty complicated. My memories of Sears is vivid with spending Saturday mornings waiting with my parents at the Sears Auto. They seemed to be the worst place to go to have a car fixed, but the only place around. Weather is hot here, guess summer is "officially" here. Hope that you are having a great weekend!

You did well on that storage unit. If your smell moth balls in a unit you won't have any mice in it, mice don't like the smell of moth balls.
At $10, even if you only got $10 worth of stuff, the $10 cost would be worth it just for the RUclips content it generates for you.
But in this case, you did extremely well. That tool box even empty would get ya like $25 or more by itself

Don't know if the rules are different in the US but here in the UK you are not supposed to resell as second-hand or give to a charity shop any cycle or motorbike helmets and child car seats - purely because you don't how well they were treated when used by the previous owner. They might look ok on the outside, no scratches etc but if they've been dropped the damage may not be visible. Cycle helmets should ideally not exceed the three years since manufacture - have always replaced mine after about 24-30 months, as they are only polystyrene foam or Styrofoam and over time can be affected by temperature changes, not being dried off after getting wet etc.
Martha’s Vineyard clothes sell for a good amount. Great unit with racing items, and collectibles.

That was a fun and profitable locker. As a sorter in a charity thrift store - (my post retirement volunteer gig) this is just like my daily life. - I've never identified with these videos more than I do right now. Sometimes exciting, sometimes disappointing - but never dull :)

NJ/PA... their firework laws are constantly changing, can't keep up with them! When I was younger, we usually had sparklers, tanks, snakes, and whatever other interesting looking fireworks that my grandparents would pick up for us. Some of them were pretty surprising and dangerous!

For sure you hit some pay dirt 😊the tools can fetch a few hundred and the jewelry box with small goodies maybe up to 100 a bike helmet 150 or more.. the diecast plaque of the bike 65 elvis poster and frame 35 or more the chimes of elvis 35 or more. 😊like a 1k find for sure.
