Hi Avinesh, with all the above features they will make it one hell of a car but they can’t do it on the current Land Rover derived omega arc platform. Would be great to see hybrid cars from Tata but as of now I don’t think they have the technology.

Dear Aditya, I own new Safari XZA+ without ADAS which is 2 months old now. I am facing issues with Infotainment system specially with Android Auto, I am using Google Pixel 8 pro with Android 14. It gets disconnected every now and then with the phone and then struggles to connect back again. I contacted Tata Service they updated the software to latest version but still issues persists. Whats your experience. Also did you change the headlamp bulbs? if yes which one you opted?
Hi Shatrughan, I usually use apple CarPlay but whenever I have used android auto I didn’t face any issues. Could be a compatibility issue with android 14. I would suggest check with another device. No, I haven’t changed the headlamps as of now. Will keep you informed whenever I do.
Hello. Have you experienced wind noise from both ORVMs at 80+ speeds? Rattling noise from the driver's side window is very irritating. Is it something youve experienced?
Hi Sanjoth, No I haven’t experienced any such noise. I have even driven it around 120 kmph and did not experience any wind noise inside the car. Might have something to do with rubber seal, I would suggest you get it checked once at the service centre.
Hi Saswat, personally I would prefer the RDK over the dark edition because it is rare and unique. Also, while the facelift was better interior I feel the exterior look was better on the previous one.

Facing issue with music system it hangs very offend. Ira says please say command when ever she likes. Ira app shows mileage 17.2 kmpl but car gives 10.2 (tank to tank on highway. Done 11000 kms till today. Several rattling sounds from pillar, reading lamp and sunroof curtain. I have sent my car 6 times to service center but they didn't bother.

Hi Subrata, There is slight difference in the way both the cars drive, Harrier feels more sporty and fun to drive I would say. Apart from that there are a few differences in features: there is no boss mode/electric co passenger seat and ambient light in the Harrier. Since your budget is around 25 lakhs I would not suggest xuv700 as most of its features are offered in its top variant. You could check out the Scorpio N once though . But then again there is a long waiting period on it . I have both Harrier and Safari so far haven’t faced any major issue. Service I would say depends on the dealer a lot. So, I would recommend the Harrier for you.

Hi Rakesh, 1. Yes, my left leg feels comfortable during the drive, I think that issue is only in case of manual variants. 2. NVH level is quite good, you can hardly feel unwanted outside noise. 3. Fit and Finish is decent I would say, with the ambient lighting and red stitching it feels quite premium. 4. Around the corners, the safari feels much more in control at higher speeds and driving through potholes also feels better with less noise coming into the cabin. But on a straight line I feel XUV 700 is faster and drives more car like with the electric powered steering. While the safari feels more suv-ish.
When a vehicle has 360 camera.. why the same cant be used as a Dash cam as well.. the only thing it has to do is record. I think manufacturers should enable that feature instead of installing after market dashcams. This is the case with all the manufacturers.
Hi Anjuraj, my thoughts were exactly the same initially but I think storage space can be a concern here. Especially with the higher quality cameras in both harrier and safari - it will require a lot of storage space which can impact the overall performance of the infotainment system. But maybe in the future the manufacturers will come up with a sustainable solution to this.
@@adityajaideep There is no need to store the recording in the device. Just a slot to insert Memory card and allow the recording to be saved in that card. This is actually possible. Manufacturers just choose not to do it for some unknown reasons. Anyways a great Vehicle you have purchased . congrats for that and wish you many many miles

Hi Ramkumar, if you are shifting from an electric powered steering , you can feel it to be on the harder side. But after using it for a few days , you will really like the feel. Makes you feel very connected.
Hi Jatin, calculated mileage was around 15 kmpl (14.85 to be precise) but one thing to note is that I drove the car mostly in city mode. Never used economy mode. Sometimes, drove in wet and rough road mode.

Just bought the car in May and only found out this issue when i drove down from Hyderabad to Kerala... whenever i get it up to 110 and above, steering shakes and vibrates.. this is all on the expressways so the roads were great . Did the service center mention what the issue was?
Same here Srijit. Got possession in May and took it out to Ooty. Experienced steering vibrations on speeds above 90 and a slight left pull on low speeds. Left pull got resolved by itself, but steering vibrations were looked into by the service centre. They did wheel balancing for free and now it's gone. Suggested we maintain 30 - 33 psi on all tyres during long runs as they expand due to heat in uneven proportions. In my case the psi fluctuated between 35 - 37 which led to steering vibrations/wobble.

Yes, facelift is just around the corner. Dusshera most likely. Nexon, Harrier & Safari are getting revamped. Harrier EV as well.
