This is nonsense. Even with 200 million from the Salah sale, LFC wouldn’t pay Mbappe’s wages. Half a million a week is way too much. By the time you have paid the transfer fee you have nothing left to pay wages. There’s no way LFC would wreck their wage structure, and in the process wreck team spirit, to pay Mbappe his wage.
Half a million wont cut it for Mbappe.
I think his current contract is worth a lot more than that when you add in bonuses and other payments.

The problem main two problems are the wage structure and the lineup. Mbappe wants to play on the left, we need to replace Salah on the right.
No, it's not just about having available funds. When you have one player on 500,000 plus you create envy and unrest. Every player at the club would demand a raise. Then you have FFP regulations. The Mbappe wages takes money away from future transfers. Future transfers fees will always be rising. Eventually you reach a kill zone where you are limited on who you can bring in to the club. i.e. lower standard of players.@@zamarokxl

Firstly Mbappe is quoted as saying Arsenal and Liverpool are the only English teams he would consider playing for. His mother is a Liverpool fan. 7 years ago he agreed terms to join Liverpool before PSG and Liverpool’s owners pulled out of the deal due to the thinking 60 million for a teenager was too much. The question was never would Mbappe join Liverpool, it was would Liverpool’s cheap owners spend the money to get him? Him being an free agent and 250 million from Salah makes Mbappe very affordable to FSG. Did anyone see Henderson’s interview were he said Liverpool made a mistake pulling out of the Bellingham deal and should have just paid the money he wanted, clearly showing Liverpool’s was Bellingham’s first choice and Real Madrid only got him because Liverpool’s owners didn’t want to pay a high transfer fee and wages to him.

Come on Jules. The disrespect on Michael Owen is getting a bit stale now. That guy was a bonafide superstar before his injuries. The lad scored 3 premier league hat-tricks before he turned 19. It's only happened 6 times and he is the only one to do it more than once. We never even saw the best of him because the injuries really killed his career by the time he reached his mid-20s which are supposed to be your peak years.
