this woman has helped me out so much through all 3 IGCSE sciences. I do not know how much to thank her, honestly. Ms.Hazel, I and practically all of us here are very thankful for this.
Ms.Hazel!!! You're a psychic! The 6 marker in 42 was the percentage mass question. Without you, I wouldn't have had the slightest idea how to answer it. Thank you so much!!!!
hi hazel, can I rely on this video for my entire revision for paper 6? Also, I can not thank you enough for the fantastic youtube videos for the physics, chem and biology syllabus! Paper 4's went great!
Definitely practice at-least a few past papers, you may understand how the process works but it’ll be useless if you’re not familiar with the marking scheme and forget to mention the keywords that get you the mark!
I just wannna say thank you so so much! Your videos helped me immensely to do well in my alternative to practical chem & bio exams! I didn't do too well on my paper 4 for chem, so acing today's paper was really important. I'm super grateful!🙏❤
My revision guide at swhlearning.co.uk has lots of tips for the alternative to practical paper. That and past papers should put you in a very good position
Phenolphthalein is colourless in acidic and neutral solutions but pink/red in alkaline solutions. Same for Thymolphthalein, except it is blue in alkaline solutions.
Almost all metal salts are white, except some like copper oxide is black, copper ii carbonate is green, copper ii sulfate is blue, copper itself is pink brown. and other cations will be given at the back of p6
you are wrong for the amount of product formed, concentration only changes the gradient, not the final product formed. It will be the same as the mass of the reactants have not changed
But moles = concentration x volume. If you increase the concentration, and keep the volume constant, you're therefore increasing the moles so will make more product

hey hazel can u make a video for those of us who are going to sit for the physics gce o level practical exam
What book should I use for alternative practice? Or should I just keep practicing past papers
My revision guide at swhlearning.co.uk has lots of tips for the alternative to practical paper. That and past papers should put you in a very good position
I dont find phenolphthalein in the new syllabus it seems it was replaced by thymolphthalein
Phenolphthalein is colourless in acidic and neutral solutions but pink/red in alkaline solutions. Same for Thymolphthalein, except it is blue in alkaline solutions.
I know this is unrelated but, for methyl orange, is turns orange at pH 4 right? So why do we say that neutralization has been achieved here?
What about appearance of things, eg Sodium carbonate or Aluminium sulfate
Almost all metal salts are white, except some like copper oxide is black, copper ii carbonate is green, copper ii sulfate is blue, copper itself is pink brown. and other cations will be given at the back of p6
@@beepbeep422 do u have any notes on this? not the paper they'll provide at the back like general notes for p6 I should memorize
you are wrong for the amount of product formed, concentration only changes the gradient, not the final product formed. It will be the same as the mass of the reactants have not changed
But moles = concentration x volume. If you increase the concentration, and keep the volume constant, you're therefore increasing the moles so will make more product
Can I draw the instrument with a ruler ?
U are the 🐐
Just a question the qualitative analysis notes will 100% be given right?
I'm struggling in the last question of every paper 😢
Writing in 40 minutes
Heyy variant 2 over here , do you guys remember any question or any tips that could help me if you do pls let me know , thank youuu
Also how did everyones paper go ???
Are the notes of qualitative analysis given, because in specimen paper it was given??
Are we getting the tables for observations and tests in the paper?
Yup!
