A quick note regarding pusher motor upgrades and the incident with Drac's MK3: I definitely reccommend doing a pusher motor upgrade on the mk3. I personally used a 3s kraken, and it was a very fast and easy mod, maybe 10 minutes open and shut. Now I have a mk3 with a firerate close to a FDL for half the price of one. I know Drac broke his thrower arm, but I have never had any problem with it and I've put hundreds of rounds through it (I also live in a very cold climate where ive had 3d printed parts break from the temperature, so I think Drac might have had a lemon thrower arm). Even if it does break sometime in the future, there are readily availible 3d printable parts that are reinforced. From personal experience, the pusher motor is the best mechanical upgrade that can be done to the mk3 at the moment because it only costs about 7 dollars and it greatly improves the performance of the blaster. Being able to launch 5 darts at someone in a half second burst is pretty damn fun.
Hello captain, I am sorry for my reply to your most recent reply to my comment and I await the next fan mail video with anticipation. The announcement I will present to you today is: I have found a use for the Jurassic pro in my HVZ load out! As a part omega I will be carrying both dart and heavy ammunition launching blasters. The Jurassic pro is my new heavy weapon for socks and mega darts! For a complete dart zone load out would a spectrum be viable for a primary. I will have a aeon pro on my side. Best regards Ben the wild child E750.
Saw in Drac's vid he also tried upgrading the motor for the full auto. Ended up snapping the linkage for the select fire. Have you experienced any issue with that?
@@CaptainXavier I would imagine one of the other kits you were talking about being sent in addition to the OOD kit would have an upgraded linkage mechanism as well, Just in case. Of course, if it works, it works.
I think this video is rather dated from its recording, but OOD did make a thicker pusher gear arm. This allows the use of better pusher motors for a quicker full auto without snapping the arm. I run my MK3 with the upgraded gear arm and a Valkyrie pusher motor! Likewise, print the Haphazardlynamed Dart Pusher! It has a more squared design which solves the full length inconsistent double feed and alleviates the Talon compatibility. The pusher was slanted to avoid getting caught on the magazine follower, which actually isn't an issue to begin with~
funny though, the double feeding increases the stock fire rate significantly... on mine, it's relatively consistently double feeding so the rate of fire is actually not bad with full length darts. still something i plan to upgrade.
"Rather dated" yes, hmmm, I wonder if that is why he said there was going to be a series of videos. Maybe, just maybe, that was a clue that there would be a steady evolution to this mod and that maybe, just maybe, one should hold onto their comments until they have seen the whole series. ;)
Now let’s slap that CNW Masterkey that I know you have laying about somewhere and get this thing to BattleRifle standards. And, don’t think for a moment that we didn’t put together that the side rail can hold your modular Jupiter.
It is really very clever. Semi-auto is just like a stryfe. The selecter lever mechanically disengages the trigger from the pusher and engages the trigger switch. The auto-pusher is then a cross between a Stampede, a Rapidstrike, and an Auto-Styfe. Fascinating.
With the Kraken motors, you should use LiPo. HOWEVER, I use a 3s Valkyrie motor in the pusher system to have a fast full-auto. You can still run 8AAs and the blaster will still hit hard with the stock flywheel setup. If you use Bulldog flywheels and Dart Zone "Chili" darts, you can increase the FPS by 20 without having to use new motors or a LiPo!
Nope, I occasionally leave that in to root out the Pedantic Avengers. They just can't help themselves and it makes it easy to spot them and revoke their commenting privileges so I never have to see their pedantic ever again. :P
I look forward to videos of this man with the glorious beard. Especially DZP or Dart Zone videos because they're my current jam.

First is not always best, full and informative is always better.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one up at this hour.
I run this setup with a 40mm crush cage and I love it. It's well worth the money you spend to get the cage upgrade from OOD.
I’m thinking about replacing the pusher motor with a fang revamped overvolted
I would not recommend it...but let me know what happens.
Fancy Schmancy upgrades!
On an already fancy shmancy blaster.

Daybreaks and Krakens are such a great setup. Makes it a very versatile blaster. If you run it on 2s it should give you sub 130fps; perfect for HvZ.

Not yet.

@@CaptainXavier Yep, I am an idiot and commented too early before I let the Cap speak 🙃
@@Spartan412 no worries! Don't mind me nothing to see here!
That kit is pretty cool
Excellent kit! Bangarang!

Yup! Masterkey with a jupiter slapped on the side rail... no kill like overkill!
Mornin' Captain.
if fps is now called fips we should call dps dips; loving the tik toks and the mag dumps the are much enjoyment
Where do you put that little orange piece sitting next to your solder at 4:23? Mine fell out when I opened it and I have no clue where it goes lol
It goes on the left side of the shell. The opposite side of all the other internals. It is part of the selectfire lever.
@@CaptainXavier thank you so much!
everyone give Xavier a f in the chat for his sore knees after all the jump cuts he does.
Nice video, the little tab is for the half length dart adapter to prevent jams. Have you seen Campbell Nerf Works MK3 Master Key kit?
Do you honestly think, for one second, that installing CNW Master Key kit is not going to be part of this series of videos? ;)
@@CaptainXavier Cap loves him some masterkey!
@@CaptainXavier My apologies, Capt. I can be a little clueless at times. I should never have doubted the "Master of all things Modular".
Love it my Captain Xavier
Mostly viewed this because I was so interested I'm seeing how the mk3 select fire works

I believe the next video in the series explains it in more detail.
@@CaptainXavier wow, never thought I'd get a reply from a verified, professional nerf Modder, thank you
After putting in the kit can you still run them on aa batteries or do you have to use a lipo
