Nidaros is the original medieval (Viking) name for the city of Trondheim, and Domen = Cathedral, so.... Nidarosdomen is the great medieval Cathedral of Trondheim :). I can't believe I missed this concert, a mere 10 minutes by car from my home :(
This whole concert is excellent, and you're right; she seems a lot more comfortable in her skin in this concert than she does in some of her earlier stuff. Anything from her KEXP concert or the HAIK concert she's similarly outgoing in her performance. She's talked in the past about how nervous she was for so long to perform in front of people, and it just took time to get comfortable. Thanks for another AURORA reaction!
Watching Aurora grow as an artist has been quite a ride. Like you said, she used to be very shy and reserved on stage and I always used to feel like she was this vulnerable creature we needed to protect at all costs, but now when she's no longer holding back I can't help but feel like she's the one sent here to protect all of us. She looks so powerful.
This concert is so great.. I recommend all musiclovers to watch the entire thing. Norwegian tv (NRK) soundtechnicians have done a really good job with this considering how difficult it is to get mint sound in a big hall like Nidarosdomen with hard walls everywhere. Unfortunately its hard to convey the might of the 9600 pipes organ which feels like a force of nature.

Aurora is one of my favorite artists and she’s just like a fairy 🥺 also this song is so beautiful i wanted to ask you if you can react to the song “Raison d’etre” or the song “Kakai Kitan”by this japanese singer called Eve, please! he’s one of my other favorite artist thank you for you videos, they’re always so entertaining!
Have you seen her performance at KEXP (Iceland)? Aside from her incredible voice, I think you would like the sheer energy of it! She is extremely animated during that concert!

One of my favourite performances from Aurora, which goes under the radar of most people, is the Warrior performance from the HAIK documentary, not from the HAIK concert. This is a very special performance, because she does not play this with her regular band, but with musicians who play cello, Guzheng and keyboard. The performance is very intimate, because the audience only consists of three people, including Christine (who directed the show). Aurora's lyrics and voice have so much more power with this type of low key performance. Her emotions on this show are unique. So, there is a song of hers, that doesn't get enough attention, in my opinion. It's called "When I'm Gone" and it's quite nice, quite nostalgic in a sense. The best version lasts 5 minutes and 36 seconds

@LarsM The concert was sold out in minutes on Sept. 4th 2017 (two month before the event), as nrk.no reported. :-(
