I was viewing/listening to the most horrendous continuing news from Ukraine…… located your channel and watched them all in one session. If its possible to have antidotes in such times, your site was it for me. It’s (very) late in life for me to attempt, but I think I might try ! Do please continue with your art, it does more to lift the soul….Thank you !
Hi Pete, Thank you so much for such a lovely, and encouraging comment. I'm so pleased my channel was able to take your mind off things. It's truly terrible everything that's going on. You should definitely try to attempt, and it's never too late to try something new! Do let me know how you get on if you do decide to try it out. I'm sure it will be very therapeutic! :) Again, thank you so much for the support
When I was looking back at the vid, I also thought it didn't look too bad. But at the time, I felt like it busied up the area. Now looking back it needs more balance on the right side, but not with a tree. 😅
New subscriber, I really like your work. Looking forward to seeing the previous videos. I have watched couple ...congratulations on your award back 2017 I think, ... I loved the music for your 2017 first week inktober Looking forward to more
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like the videos, and thank you for supporting my channel! The year after that I won best in show, and was so excited, but disappointed that I didn't film any of it! If I remember right, my dad made the music in that video! :)
I'm always on the look out for a better sketchbook, and so far I've not found the perfect one. I currently use a strathmore watercolor sketchbook (there is a link to one I use in the description box), they have soft cover and hard cover versions. I like that the paper is heavier than moleskine. I used to have a smallish sketchbook that was great, and I think the paper was fabriano. If I could find a larger version of it, I think I would use that.
I have an issue with color. I can draw anything in any style. I've used graphite and charcoal all my life, 70 years, but if I add any color to it I hate it. I don't know what it is about color that it turns amazing at into crap but it does. Yet, I still paint lol.
Whyyy I love the palm tree
I hated the palm tree when I was sketching, but when I edited back, I thought it looked great. Hindsight!

I thought the tree looked good actually. But that’s cool how you can take it out for the other look as well.

If you enjoy it, then continue! I feel like that about some drawings i've done, and then tried to add colour.
Lovely 😍
