The teams Burnley have played so far have been hard. I think the international break has come at a good time as it allows them to regroup and see where has gone wrong so far
Yeah, I wouldn't panic yet if I'm a Burnley fan. They have a really tough schedule and will continue to have one after the break. We've yet to see them against a mid-low table team. If they lose those games, then it's time to start worrying.
I think the biggest issue stems from Kompany's efforts to create a young and inexperienced squad that can play a high-press without having to recruit multiple Premier League veterans. Apart from the core group of players that Burnley kept from the Dyche era; Cork, Gudmundsson, Brownhill, Cullen, Rodriguez and Roberts almost none of Burnley's new additions have no more than 2 seasons of full top-flight experience in a top 5 league apart from Redmond who just left Besiktas (ironically playing with Weghorst who was loaned there from Burnley). Plus the two biggest losses for Burnley's return to the Premier League are Nick Pope who was arguably a top 5 keeper in the Premier League since Burnley's shock 7th place finish and Nathan Tella who was not only their top goalscorer in the Championship last season but the best player in my opinion. Kompany is playing an incredibly risky campaign that could reap massive long-term rewards, but unlike his mentor at Man City he lacks the budget and is too ambitious. It's like Guardiola deciding after winning the Championship League to replace Haaland and De Bruyne with two unknown youngsters.
I agree with you. I see exactly the same issues as he had with Anderlecht (I'm from Belgium): he's a strong believer of the high press tactic, playing attractive and offensive football, the same way Man City does (and Anderlecht 10 years ago), which works very well if you have a good squad and in the Championship he had the best team. Their squad is just too weak to play his system in de PL, exactly the way it was with Anderlecht a couple of years ago (because Anderlecht was/is virtually bankrupt so they couldn't get the best players anymore. I think he even put some of his own money in the club). He's not a bad coach at all but he's too much of an optimist and therefore too naïve I guess.
Nah it’s not about experience, it’s simply about having quality. As a Brentford fan we are kind of the perfect example. In our first season we comfortably stayed up in our squad had I believe 3 prior prem appearances between the whole squad. Nothing wrong with a young inexperienced squad but they have to be ready.
@@sebastiencrusener4968 When you look at the likes of Benfica, Ajax, Celtic and RB Salzburg the lower-quality competition allows them to experiment with a lot of young players due to the lack of UCL-level competition. Kompany had that luxury in the Championship League but now has to contend with the Premier League veterans in almost every game and UCL-level competition in nearly half the fixtures. Kompany needs better players with short-term value to avoid relegation, otherwise, the experiment in Burnley ends after 2 seasons and Dyche could return considering how terrible Everton are run.
You guys play attacking football now, which I really enjoy. High up the field means you lot are definitely going to put the defence at caution of counters. It’s a nice sentiment but watching them against Spurs they don’t have the quality to pull off those tactics at this level. They will get punished a lot playing that way until GW12. That’s almost a third of the season.

As a Genk-fan, I felt this coming after our friendly, when Burnley had a hard time creating chances agains us even though our defense was our weakest point + WE WERE BASICALLY PLAYING OUR BENCH. We only threw in almost the entire A-team 10 minutes ahead of time and Burnley broke down entirely. The same A-team that would go on to bottle European qualifiers against Servette Genève and Olympiakos, as well as our start in the Pro League. The way I see it: Kompany has a possession based philosophy, that really worked well in the Championship. He really brought the team to a level that was higher then the sum of the players. In the Prem however, the quality difference between those players and the rest becomes too big, and the little defensive mistakes get exploited to a larger extend. In attack, Kompanyball is never really all that vertical, so you have to crack down defenses with quick and swift combinations, forcing them to make the errors, which is also easier to do against teams in the Championship then in the Premier League. Kompanyball is ideal when you are one of the top-6 teams in a league trying to outplay the other 5 by asserting more controll over games then they do. But it becomes unrealistic when you have to go up against teams at a higher level. Better players are supposed to compensate for this, though I question if just improving on some positions is going to be enough. They'll have to adjust tactically. Vince's a really charismatic guy, a sympathetic fellow, whose players will absolutely go though a brick wall for him, but he's also stubborn. And that might turn out to become a problem. Although I don't really see how Burnley would be able to do well with another coach handling the players meant for his system....
@@DieEneNoah Vertonghen deserved what he got last night. His whole 'performance' throughout the game was the most OUTRAGEOUS display of poor sportmanship that I have EVER seen in our stadium. (And we used to have Thomas Buffel as one of our own.) As for Kompany, I assume that you are talking about 2019.... He had just arrived at Anderlecht as "player-coach" and had given countless interviews talking about coaching in the JPL as if it was nothing, talking about the combination of both player and manager as if it was nothing, speaking of title ambitions while he had basically just taken control of (atm) the worst Anderlecht in years.... Then there was the whole "who's gonna be the captain" soap opera in the Belgian press.... Their was a sort of "benevolent arrogance" about it all that annoyed a lot of Belgian football fans on social media. Only in Anderlecht nobody seemed to notice this. So when he got one of his first games as "player coach" at our place and during the game.... he got injured AGAIN.... there was spontaneous laughter and ironic clapping in the audience. This mockery seemed to annoy his dad, who then went to the press. I was in the stadium that day. This was it. This was everything. Nothing else. No "boo-ing" or shit like that as Vertonghen rightfully got. Anderlecht-fans are now crying everywhere on their socials because they feel buthurt over our public beef with Vertonghen and the referee. Fact is: most Genk-fans have spoken quite respectfully about Kompany in recent years and after our friendly game he himself even said a few nice words about the club. So nobody outside of people like you still even remember this happening. So stop acting like a victim. You lost 2 points yesterday. You should have lost 3. Be happy with that one you got too much....
I think Kompany should focus more on a compact defense and a high line in the premier with the current team is suicidal. There is also the fact of soo many new players take time to gel in. So a better strategy would be to slowly face in and acclimatize the new signings. Having those 3 games to kick off the season for a newly promoted team is just terrible luck. I think it is doable to save the ship and play a good season, but you need to bring the ship in order and work things from there
I’m a Norwich fan and this just seems a lot like what we were like in 19/20 with everything even down to the not left backs playing at left back we had at a point in the season. Hope Burnley don’t end how we did and can stay up though
I don’t really think it’s kompany’s fault because so far, burnley have been playing really good teams like Aston Villa, Man City, and Spurs (Mainly Hueng min Son) have been doing really well right now so I think just give burnley some time and they will be fine at the end of the season. That’s just my opinion though because I’m a City fan.
I massively respect, what you guys are trying to do. Its hard but Im pretty sure it will work out, yes the left back is a problem and the run of fixtures has not been kind so far, in order to find a rhythm. But the high press, and the willingness to go toe to toe with the opponent is something if once imbibed will make a team difficult to beat.
I’m a Brentford fan and there are some interesting parallels between our first prem season. Tbh tho we had zero prem experience. Literally our squad had like 3 prem appearances between them. We also didn’t really have a RB (except Roerslev who plays more now but was still very much a backup) and played a winger or CB there predominantly. It worked for us because we had solid tactics and a good enough young squad. Don’t think the factors discussed mean they can’t resolve it if they figure enough stuff out.
I’m a forest fan and how Burnley are defending right now reminds me exactly what we were like at the start of last season . Took us awhile to get sorted, cooper had to abandon his tactics in favour of a more defensive one and it helped us stay up. Change is definitely needed
Everytime I think about this Burnley team, I remember Paco Jémez's Rayo Vallecano. They played an offensive style of football, but also got battered by big teams (that time they lost 10-2 to Real Madrid...). It went well for them the first couple of seasons, but they were eventually relegated with that same manager. At the beginning of the season I was curious to see how Burnley would fare with this approach. So far, I don't think they're doing that bad. I mean, they were not supposed to beat any of the first 3 teams they've played. It was very much realistic to expect 0-1 pts from these 3 matches. Next game against Nottingham Forest is probably the first big test for this team. If they're not capable of winning these kind of games, it's over.
Sander Berge was either the best player on the pitch when he was with us (Sheff Utd) or the worst. He's very inconsistent and at times seems very disinterested in putting a shift in.
A Blade recently summed up Berge well, he said when Sheff Utd were playing well then Berge played well, however when Sheff Utd had an off day then Berge was poor. He always looked quality for us (Sheff Utd) but seems so casual, like he was playing in the park and not often up for the fight. He split our fanbase regards if he was any good or over rated, he used to receive loads of praise or loads of stick from our fans, from one match to the next.
They've had three tough opponents so far, Spurs and City especially. Plus with the Luton game being postponed there's a real possibility that you have three points in hand, that's a very winnable game. International break has come at a good time for them. I wouldn't be too worried just yet.
as a Belgian, a lot of these transfers from the Belgian Pro League just arent premier league level, Al-Dakhil, Delcroix, Foster, even Benson ... werent even standout players in the belgian league
Burnley's tactics are great when you have a team that is on par with league average. However, having jumped to the premier league this is no longer the case and attempting to replicate it leaves gaps that can be exploited both by high-pressing teams and counter attacking teams. There is a reason smaller teams surviving in the premier league often play low block and counter. Kompany's tactics simply can't work in the PL with his current squad. There will be an occasional win every now and then, maybe even an impressive win, but that's about it.
Great vid. We are having the exact same problem at Aberdeen for the exact same reasons. Unlike yourself, I'm not as confident that our Barry Robson will turn it around. He's a great young manager in the making, but is stubborn. He's more likely to dig in than change the failing system. Normally his 'stubborn' is an asset, but not on this occasion. Anyway, good luck to Burnley.
Saw this coming. The teams which do the best in the Championship with eye-catching, attacking football inevitably struggle in the Prem where they're out-gunned. Need a change of strategy to stabilise in the league then build a more attacking style with better players over time.
Tbh, nothing is really certain yet, most newly promoted teams always start off slow like this, Burnely will probably pick up over the season and secure survival
So far this season, your opponents have all been top 8 in last year’s prem, so I truly think this works for you. You would probably not have expected to get points off any of then, so you’re able to spend some low-pressure minutes working out the kinks.
I know it’s hard to watch after a great last season. I am a Southampton Supporter and the last time we come up and played in the Prem again (2012/13), we, like you, had a tough start. Man City, Man U and Arsenal in our first 4. We conceded 8 in our first 3 and 14 in our first 4 but scored in all games. By late October, we had clicked into gear and looked a decent side. It’s tough coming up and trying to play good football. I’m sure you’ll be fine. Look at Luton, they play predominantly without the ball and they have lost every game. It could be a lot worse. I’d say they are in much bigger trouble than you are. You’ll be alright.
You guys are group of young guys and I think that you will bounce back. Premier League can be a slap in the face at the start, you guys will get it sorted out💯
Hate to say "I told you so". Spoke to a few Burnley fans giving it large predicting mid table. It reminded me of when Norwich came up, a really good open attacking team, they brought that style to the PL and seems to loose 5-2 most weeks. I accepted that Burnley could finish mid table or but warned that bottom of the league is probably more likely. Many Burnley fans refused to believe that Burnley could struggle stating their open attacking style. Mentioned that Kompany is still a novice and would be very naive to try to play attacking football.
As a Kosovan who follows Muric closely, it’s a no-brainer to start him. Not only he knows Kompany’s system but he has far more experience than Trafford. For example, when Kosovo played against England for World Cup qualifiers in Wembley he was great and also saved a penalty from Kane and he also saved Man City in a penalty shootout against Leicester. He’s taller, stronger and far better on the ball than Trafford and has more experience. Kompany knows Muric since they were teammates in Man City and knows how good he was last year. He should definitely start him since he didn’t do anything to take that title away.
burnley have played really good teams so far. but equally i think Kompany needs to adapt slightly. Fulham played a very similiar style when they won the championship in 21/22 but marco Silva knew that they coulodnt play the wy they did in the championship in the premier league because it would leave them too open. so he adapted his style and Fulham became a eally tough team to play because of the high quality mid-block that he implemented it was helped by the quality of players they had like João Palhinha for example as well as Berd Leno too.
A lot of people going "Oh Burnley play really good football" as if doing the exact opposite didn't give Burnley the greatest underdog story (that isn't Leicester) in the Premier League, getting to Europe with a squad of Championship nobodies. "Really good football" doesn't keep you up. Kompany's overextended. He wants to play a certain way that you can't do. He needs to play more industrially with hopes the creativity up front makes up for the goals. High lines only work against teams that don't make a living exploiting such a thing.
People like it because Burnley aren't hard to beat anymore and don't give the sky six team they support a hard time for points anymore. Its the most condescending, know your place "praise" that there is
Snap out of it Vizah, we need to remember that last season in the beginning we were not too dissimilar to this season. A brand new team, our defence was pretty dire, remember Maatsen he couldn't even defend. We let in goals like a sieve, but we had a great attacking ability and I actually think we have better attacking options this season. As VK says we need to work on where we are struggling and just like least season it will all snap into place.
I predicted at the start of the season that the 3 Promoted Clubs would occupy 3 of the last 4 places along with Bournemouth. I am in my 7th decade of attending my London team's matches and, thankfully, we just missed out on Promotion as we would have got slaughtered. The GULF between the Top 2 Divisions is now a CHASM,.I'm afraid. You have to hope Wolves struggle and Everton doesn't improve * * SPOILER..Over the last 25 years. Everton ALWAYS gets out of it often,, on the last day when 0/2 to Wimbledon and they had to win in the 2nd half. They Did and have done several times since, hence 70 years at the top,in succession.
I agree with most of what you have mentioned. However it will get better as there is a lot of quality in the team. It’s unfortunate that we have played against what l would call quality teams for the first three games. If it had been say Luton,Bournemouth Sheffield Utd or Palace we could now be sat nearer the top and all would be good. UTC
Sander Berge the only 6.5ft player who jumps 2ft and is then only 5ft he is a very good midfielder when he is on form but he is always more off he may have 1 great game and then 6 crap .
i think that kompany and burnley need time to adjust to the premier league , kompany is overcomlicating the tactics that work and i think he just needs time to realise that he has to keep it simple if he does that or even finds new things i think burnley can get back on track
Cheer up, you guys played 3 of the best 8 teams in the first 3 games. Doesn’t matter if you lose to them in the end, just beat the teams around you and you’ll be fine. Burnley is going to be a long term project.
Starting next season, back in THe Championship. The gap is too huge unless you have a big budget, with just 1 or 2 exceptions like Brentford. The same goes for Luton and Sheffield United with Bournemouth, their only real hope of escaping.
The thing is, for a team to play like Man City, Arsenal, Barca, etc., it's good to have the idea, but if you don't have the talent, it won't work against teams that do, that's why the big clubs try to do it because they have money to pay for that talent, it's sad but it's the reality
Exactly the same as Forest last season, playing that open looks great but doesn’t work with the players you have at this level. You’ll have to adapt or you will go down
I think you are spot on , the gun hoe approach doesn't work in the Premiership, playing the same way as city with a high end lemonade budget isn't going to cut it. We need experience to read the game better and to know when to drop back. I do think Charlie Taylor should play LB it's frustrating that we didn't get another LB in the transfer window, hopefully January will be the time we do.
I don't know why did people even think Kompany's Burnley is a better side than Dyche's. I mean I get it the centurions and all but it was in the championship.
We need to play the playerS in their nest natural positions; so as you said Roberts RB, Taylor LB etc its crazy and so far tactically suicidal. If Taylor is no good why did we not get another proper LB in the window? We had plenty of time to do so. I think we need a sitting Defensive midfielder to mop up trouble in front of the our defence and act as a safety value for the team. Therefore,I don't think we can play 442. I agree, Muric must make a return as well as I think it's too soon for Trafford. I expect Vinny to deal with these issues and tighten up and give ourselves a chance for points or it's is going to be a terrible time for fans this season.
I want Burnley to stay up and it's heartbreaking to see them struggling so much after an unbelievable dominant season in the Championship! TBF you faced Tottenham, Man City and Aston Villa 3 big oppositions that you know that Burnley aren't winning against because of their unbelievable form! Don't worry you only played 3 games and you will get wins and points very soon once you face easy oppositions
I think last season great performance happened because they were on the championship with teams of lower level which enabled burnley to play more offensively because they had superior talent but now since the are in a higher tier they should focus more in having a compact block and be more competitive instead of focusing in beautiful play.
the 3 games have been city villa and spurs. its a very difficult set of games. did burnley fans expect to be top 10 or something? probably wont go down but you can expect to be beating clubs in the top 6
Bolton fan here. I wouldn't be too worried, you've played teams that are easily all top 6 or 7 this year. As for Trafford, he's class but he's a kid and needs time to learn your system. Trust me though, the ceiling this kid has is insane. Don't forget he's completely skipped the championship as well so that's an even longer adjustment period. But back him cos when he's confident he's a fucking beast.
I think Burnley will be okay I've always had a soft spot for Burnley that tough northern grit remember it's not were you start its were you finish you're going to be okay.
Don't worry to much yet. Man City Villa Spurs is a tough first 3 games. Kompany needs time to figure things out. A lot of new players. I'm sure you will come good. My bottom 3 are Luton Sheffield United Everton. At least Burnley look like they have goals in them
Liam let’s be fair u weren’t thinking last season we were gonna be best in championship from our first 7 games drawing everything but now it is harder situation cause we are in the prem and instead of draws it is now losses I ain’t scared Ik what kompany is doing he is making tactics to see who works well with who and once we click we will be indestructible at the back
Some teams we really shouldn't be trying to take the fight to we could sit back a bit be solid and counter attack with pace or in any attack not be as slow as we usually are as to not give the defenders to much time as the style on attack benefits the players in our team
To promote fairness and create a COMPETITIVE league, I think leagues need to introduce a salary cap. I’ll use $100m transfer budget as an example. Every season you have $100m to spend. If a team spends over the cap, they get taxed for every dollar they spend over the cap. And that is where luxury tax come in. Luxury tax is like FFP but better. And then you introduce Germany’s 50+1 rule and there you go.
As a Forest fan, we found the jump to the Premier League far though than we expected. The very first step to survival is to stop conceding goals. Forest conceded 19 goals in the first nine matches - got 4 points. In the next nine, Forest conceded 13 goals. Got 10 points. You need to tighten up and not sink lower in goal difference.
I saw Burnley play yesterday and it wasn't even that bad. Some good play at times in de first half. But because I had not seen them for a long time I went to look into the history of some of the players. Many are just not experienced at all. For example the right back is from St Truiden in Belgium... That is just simply no good level for PL. The difference is too big. Maybe things will turn around when they are some games in but it's going to be very difficult.
Mate whatever people say about Spurs, they’re still one of the best teams in the prem. I don’t think many burnley fans expected a win and yes conceding 5 goals to them is not great but it’s better than conceding 5 goals to Bournemouth or smth like that
Don't worry lad, you're probably gonna win or draw against us if we don't get our act together after the international break. I hope Burnley can turn things around, but for now I need to worry about my team for the third year in a row :')
Burnley will be a yo yo club like Norwich or West Brom from back in the day. I think that’s more exciting than just being another mid table club at least
Being a yo yo club is a financial nightmare for club considering the money gap between pl and championship, you're going to spend insane amount of money for each successive season, till your club gets absolutely broke.
Problem is Kompany was never tested on his way of playing not working out, only minor adjustments were made. Now he has to figure it out entirely and start from scratch. He may not be up to the task and he knows it. This is when a young manager needs a mentor, because every manager with a long career has been through this.
You need quality to play a high like like Burnley at trying to do, Burnley only managed to stay in the Prem because Dyche played a low block and countered, which caught big teams off guard This Burnley team are trying a new style which will take time to implement and will need the right players to do so, I expect them to get better as time goes on, especially when playing other relegation favourites like Everton, Sheffield and possible Wolves too
Liverpool fan here. I really want Kompany to do well. But he has to now realise this is the premier league, you cant play tiki taka beautiful football against clubs like spurs when you dont have world class players. Kompany needs to be humble and play a defensive + counter attacking style so that burnley can stay up in the premier league. The premier league is ruthless. Kompany must adjust.
I haven’t read all the comments, but the few I have read are spot on, last year in the Championship, Burnley were possession based, and against my team , Luton, achieved nothing with that possession, and if it wasn’t for a dodgy penalty given by our favourite ref, Jeremy “ two yards Offside goal given to York City” Simpson, Burnley would have drawn with us, as they did at Turf Moor. Burnley were not the best team I saw last year, that award goes to West Brom, who were awesome 🤷♂️, followed by Sunderland and Coventry, for different reasons. I suspected that if Vincent Kompany continued with his flowing , possession based football, Burnley would get found out, the promoted sides need to be pragmatic, Luton had the equal best defence last year, with Burnley, we have conceded 9 goals, Burnley 11. The gulf in quality is huge, every mistake is punished, two of Spurs goals were unstoppable, the like of which you will not see in the lower leagues... Good luck 🧡🧡🎩🎩
Im a man United fan but in from Burnley it’s sad to see I grew up round Burnley I used to go every weekend it’s like my second home I hope it gets better from here for you best wishes ❤ btw you’ve had a hard start mate it’ll get better from here
The Premier League schedule makers clearly don't want Burnley to stay up. What's the best way to kill a promoted team's confidence in their home form? Give them these first 5 home fixtures: -Manchester City -Aston Villa -Tottenham -Manchester United -Chelsea No joke, these are their first 5 home fixtures. In there are fixtures such as Newcastle away. The first home match I expect Burnley to take points from is in November. By that time, they may already be on the relegation fast track.
The teams Burnley have played so far have been hard. I think the international break has come at a good time as it allows them to regroup and see where has gone wrong so far
They have a pretty in-form Forest away, then United at home, then Newcastle away and Chelsea at home. Very easily could have 0 points from 7 games.

Great analysis fully agree. Especially with the fact that a new coach would probably struggle even more.
Fully agree
Gijle moet stoppen met legendes zoals Vertonghen en Kompany uit te fluiten!
@@DieEneNoah Ga ergens anders bleiten. PS: nice analysis!
@@DieEneNoah Vertonghen deserved what he got last night. His whole 'performance' throughout the game was the most OUTRAGEOUS display of poor sportmanship that I have EVER seen in our stadium. (And we used to have Thomas Buffel as one of our own.)
As for Kompany, I assume that you are talking about 2019....

There's some early signs but i'm hoping we can learn from this soon
well looks like we are heading that way
I have a soft spot for Burnley so it’s heartbreaking thank you for the likes hopefully they stay up

He’s cold
I’m so happy for him
Mate, c'mon. Benni McCarthy, Aaron "the axe" Mokoena, even Elrio van Heerden.
You should support Blackburn! 👌
I hope so man
@@Vizeh i hope you guys dont relegate
Its crazy how he's waffling about Burnley losing to top 6 teams LMFAO when they just go up the division
Mainly Son 🤓
Yeah we’re just Son FC don’t worry about us or watch our games we’re just being carried by Son
Don’t worry mate. After you did the Qpr video, every performance since has been brilliant.
Its a Fantastic Day when Vizeh Uploads
That's makes my day, just not for this video
Nottingham is likely going to finish them
Sander Berge was either the best player on the pitch when he was with us (Sheff Utd) or the worst. He's very inconsistent and at times seems very disinterested in putting a shift in.
Normally the worst 😎⚔️⚔️⚔️
So many people were saying burnley were going to be mid table and the dark horse. What a joke 😂💀
Idk Why But Liam makes me like Burnley.... It's like seeing football from a totally different perspective
Not if you have less than 10 points after the first 15 games..
We will come through ok, don't all panic.
@@wanderer299a I would if I support any of the 3 promoted teams. Everton, unfortunately,ALWAYS get out of ut and have done for 25 years now.

Stay strong mate. You'll get good
Agent sander doing his job perfectly 😂
So far this season, your opponents have all been top 8 in last year’s prem, so I truly think this works for you. You would probably not have expected to get points off any of then, so you’re able to spend some low-pressure minutes working out the kinks.
LFC fan; great analysis. Very interesting and solid editing. Thanks for the video.
You’ll be alright.
liam, i am so fucking sorry, i can see the sadness in your voice. I know the pain it feels to be supporting a local club, I support Mumbai City FC
I think digne would be a good signing as a LB would solve that problem with a lot of prem experience I think he would crack on at Burnley
Pretty ambitious mate he won't sign for Burnley
He should definitely start him since he didn’t do anything to take that title away.
berge is hit and miss. i was gutted when we sold him but now we have souza and hamer im glad hes gone to burnley
Really hope you lot stay up, you deserve it more than a lot of the other sides 😂
Cheers lad
@@Vizeh No worries mate, love the videos, highlights of my week
Wouldn’t be playing championship Kompany ball against Ange ball … should probably try and tighten up a bit. Thanks for taking Sander Berge 👍
burnley have played really good teams so far. but equally i think Kompany needs to adapt slightly.
You have to hope Wolves struggle and Everton doesn't improve *
* SPOILER..Over the last 25 years. Everton ALWAYS gets out of it often,, on the last day when 0/2 to Wimbledon and they had to win in the 2nd half. They Did and have done several times since, hence 70 years at the top,in succession.
Lol
Need to do what Cooper did at Forest when they were getting hammered last season. Rip it up and start again. Go defensive, try and nick a few 1-0’s.
Burnley got done dirty with the opening fixtures tbf
So happy you guys too sander berge from us
Football content creation is wild… it’s been like 4 games this is the most reactionary vid 😂😂
If you don’t get anything at Forest, it’s hard to see where your next points are coming from
theres always chelsea, they love giving away free 3 points 😂
Forest are not a bad side now especially not at home.
Spurs supporter here. Burnley is better than at least three clubs.
Go get Kasper Schmeichel on a free. Brownhill and Berge in the mid.
A certain United fan will love this
I always say start judging after 10 games, beat the teams around you, get some bonus wins and you should be ok
UTC
Don't think you'll beat Palace, playing better than last year
Sander Berge the only 6.5ft player who jumps 2ft and is then only 5ft he is a very good midfielder when he is on form but he is always more off he may have 1 great game and then 6 crap .
i think that kompany and burnley need time to adjust to the premier league , kompany is overcomlicating the tactics that work and i think he just needs time to realise that he has to keep it simple if he does that or even finds new things i think burnley can get back on track
dont worry, just play us (chelsea) that will give you some confidence.
It will come mate, tough start to the season with some good teams to play there. But it will come
Cheer up, you guys played 3 of the best 8 teams in the first 3 games.
As a boro fan feel the same way
It's rough for you lot ain't it
@@Vizehyeah bad end to last season and it hasnt gotten any better since
The jump from the championship to premier league is unreal
Foreign coach/former famous player means Dyche never has a chance at being rated as highly
Only 3 games in and Burnley have played 3 of last seasons top 8 and are averaging a goal a game.
a video like this on Newcastle could be interesting. icl i dont have very much hope for the future if we keep playing like we did in our last 3 games
Tbh before the season began I would’ve expected a third “WTF Happened to Everton” video before this one.
Similar to how xavi is setting up his Barcelona team that as he gets better players he practices more offensive and exciting football
Selling Sander Berge and getting Hammer is the best bit of business we have done in years for us.
the 3 games have been city villa and spurs. its a very difficult set of games. did burnley fans expect to be top 10 or something? probably wont go down but you can expect to be beating clubs in the top 6
Losing Tella and Taylor has really impacted us this season in my opinion
Dude perfect curse
Tough start, they’ll improve😊
At least Burnley look like they have goals in them
Remeber when litteraly every fan from every club said they'd finish mid-table
Sure you’ll get it right and stay up. Wish my lot (west ham) were playing you soon as you’d play right into our hands 😊
Dont think tactics is the issue tbh, it takes some time for players to get used to PL plus the run of fixture doesn't help
Lyle foster is your only hope lads
To promote fairness and create a COMPETITIVE league, I think leagues need to introduce a salary cap. I’ll use $100m transfer budget as an example.
Every season you have $100m to spend. If a team spends over the cap, they get taxed for every dollar they spend over the cap.
And that is where luxury tax come in.
Luxury tax is like FFP but better.
And then you introduce Germany’s 50+1 rule and there you go.
As a Rovers fan, I find this funny
As a Forest fan, we found the jump to the Premier League far though than we expected. The very first step to survival is to stop conceding goals. Forest conceded 19 goals in the first nine matches - got 4 points. In the next nine, Forest conceded 13 goals. Got 10 points. You need to tighten up and not sink lower in goal difference.
Kompany isn't tactically flexible enough, he's too committed to a style of football that doesn't work against teams better than you
I saw Burnley play yesterday and it wasn't even that bad.
I don’t think many burnley fans expected a win and yes conceding 5 goals to them is not great but it’s better than conceding 5 goals to Bournemouth or smth like that
exactly spurs always score alot of goals wheater there preformances are good or not
Don't worry lad, you're probably gonna win or draw against us if we don't get our act together after the international break. I hope Burnley can turn things around, but for now I need to worry about my team for the third year in a row :')
Worst intro to have had on full volume playing out of my phone lmao
Burnley will be a yo yo club like Norwich or West Brom from back in the day. I think that’s more exciting than just being another mid table club at least
What about Sean dyche Burnley got relegated once under him and he got sacked before they got relegated again
You need quality to play a high like like Burnley at trying to do, Burnley only managed to stay in the Prem because Dyche played a low block and countered, which caught big teams off guard
This Burnley team are trying a new style which will take time to implement and will need the right players to do so, I expect them to get better as time goes on, especially when playing other relegation favourites like Everton, Sheffield and possible Wolves too
we'll pull it round
I love the new vizeh content he’s like a jxmyhighroller for football content instead of basketball

If you grew up around Burnley you are a Claret.Picking a top team to support is fucking pathetic.
Maybe, that is the problem. Even fans from Burnley support a bigger team.
The Premier League schedule makers clearly don't want Burnley to stay up. What's the best way to kill a promoted team's confidence in their home form? Give them these first 5 home fixtures:
-Manchester City
-Aston Villa
-Tottenham
-Manchester United
-Chelsea
No joke, these are their first 5 home fixtures. In there are fixtures such as Newcastle away. The first home match I expect Burnley to take points from is in November. By that time, they may already be on the relegation fast track.

It’s been a tough start for you lads, it will get better, you will take some scalps 👍
The odd battling, hard-fought 1/0 like Luton and Sheff Utd.
They are not in trouble. Played 3 PL matches Mancity, Aston Villa, Spurs. They ain't expected to win those to start with
