So isn't it cheaper to buy the lite version and then buy the TV box separately? It's quite a difference in price, 200 euro
They didn’t have the ultra in stock so I bought a lite and a gt king. Same price at the end. Free MX10 lol
I ordered the lite version. I can always try a different android box, also an nvidia shield comes to mind. Raspi4 would be great but it seems its still lacking proper Android support. Other than that I saw a youtuber with a similar setup who installed a laptop as back box display which also ran pinball fx. The laptop could easily be removed, display tilted and it looked really smart.

PC can indeed be a great option... question is what kind of pc.
You can easily upgrade to the GT-King ... plug and play.
MX10 is a fun box and runs most of the games fine.
Futurepinball looks interesting, its free and there is a table database created by users (PinSimDB.org). I didnt try it yet, though. But wedging an old notebook to the sharpin rear to provide backbox display and run the emu is tempting.
What do i need to build one?, a keyboard emulator and android box? Anyone help!
If the Android box is the only difference, why is it $200 more? The actual box is only $60 more. You're charging $140 over the actual cost for use of a different box?
If I hadn't already spent a boatload of money on FX3 and Pinball Arcade tables on Steam, I'd probably buy one of those but I'm sure as hell not re-buying all those tables all over again.
Or... connect the case and encoder to the pc ... and play it this way ?
They have a weekend sale, so you can get the ultra with a €100 euro discount, but you are still paying €100 extra over the lite for a box upgrade of €60, that seems a bitt off. Another question, do you have an NVidia Shield at home. Wonder if you can config it to run and see how that plays.
The reason that the MX10 looks washed out is because it's not running at the same resolution as the Ultra box. You can clearly see that by the size of the DMD.
I'd say the cheap one runs 720p while the expensive one runs 1080p

I noticed there's quite a bit of flipper lag there. 4:25
Lag is what prevents me from enjoying digital pinball. Most solutions just have a very noticeable delay between pressing the button and the movement of the flipper.
Well toys they still are of course but if they had only sunk the screen down into the box n put some glass or plexiglass on top it would have been much more appealing
Thanks for the review. But what's the point of these systems? Only a playfield, no backglass/DMD etc. You would be better of buying a complete pc build from Ebay or waiting for the Arcade1UP and importing it. Yes its more expensive. But offers so much more. Maybe just hook up a cheap 24" screen to your pc in a vertical orientation and buy pinball fx3?
Without the backglass, they are functional at best.
Team Ski - you can use another small monitor as a back glass I believe with the pro version/PC.
Chill out, man. Not everyone has your needs. You are welcome to buy a$4000 full size virtual machine.
@@Evilkingus I have a mini with a backglass, and it doesn't cost much more to incorporate one. To me, part of the charm of pinball is in the presentation.

What happens if you unplug it and then plug it again to the electricity outlet? Do you have to turn on again the monitor from the inside?
No, the Samsung must only at the first Start turn On with the Power Button on the Monitor. After that you con plug/unplug/plug.... the Monitor starts Automatically

Main problem is now you basicly use double side tape.
If he sends it like that all components will be getting loose and fly inside the case for sure 🙃

MIddel is back button iin android menu. (some games)
Did you connect it correctly ? .. wrong connection it does nothing.

Hola te puedo responder yo. Te doy varias opciones para varias posibilidades:
Si tienes un usb encoder con botones es decir un usb generico: puedes usar estas apps: btt mapping muy difícil se configurar pero muy eficaz, la app game keyboard (mas fácil de configurar y gratis) o la app octopus la mejor y mas fácil pero de pago.
En el caso de que uses un gamepad de android, las app zen pinball y zaccaria los detecta automáticamente.
Y finalmente si usas un teclado también lo detecta automáticamente. Tengo varios tutoriales con esas posibilidades. Un saludo

On the left screen, did u check your box setup that HDMI FULL RANGE/RGB 0-256 is checked? nvidia tends to revert back to Limited instead of full, and needs fix. This may be the case with Other non Nvidia based items.
How do you force the MX10 into portrait mode? I've been chasing my tail trying to solve this problem. Some people have said that the MX10 cannot do portrait mode due to its hardware limitations but here I see that it is indeed possible. Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Did you succeed in using portrait mode. If so how did you turn it into portrait mode?

shield tv pro(2019) should allow highest graphic quality possible with this. Could be a serious contender for crown for android. if someone could port future pinball it would be a beast. The tegra X1 chip 256 core would run it all

I got the MX10 Pro and it's a piece of crap. It couldn't even load into Google Play and constantly crash.
Now you have good use of it.
