Can married girls apply for Ummul Qura University? What would be the situation for their accomodation in hostel? What are the rules and regualtions for married females? Pls help
Yes, married girls can apply for Ummul Qura University, as long as they meet the general conditions of admission and the specific requirements of the college or department they want to join. However, there are some additional documents that they need to provide, such as: - A copy of the marriage contract. - A letter of consent from the husband or guardian. - A proof of residence in Makkah or its suburbs. As for the accommodation, Ummul Qura University provides housing facilities for female students, both single and married, in its campus in Al-Abdiyyah. The housing units are furnished and equipped with basic amenities, such as air conditioning, internet, TV, refrigerator, etc. The university also provides transportation services to and from the campus. The housing fees vary depending on the type and size of the unit. You can find more information about the housing services here : uqu.edu.sa/en The rules and regulations for married females are similar to those for single females, except that they have some privileges, such as: - They can visit their husbands or guardians during the specified visiting hours. - They can request a leave of absence for personal reasons, such as pregnancy, childbirth, or family emergencies. - They can apply for a transfer to another university if their husbands or guardians relocate to another city.
@@TheMessage2022 JazakAllah. I just want to know one last thing that you mentioned "proof of residency in Makkah...". What if they belong to some other country and not from Saudia? I've heard that condition of presence of Mahram is not mandatory now.
@@names9418 The proof of residence in Makkah or its suburbs is required for married female students who want to live with their husbands or guardians while studying at Ummul Qura University. If they belong to some other country and not from Saudi Arabia, they can apply for an internal scholarship, which is an educational grant dedicated for non-Saudi students with legal residence in the Kingdom. However, the internal scholarship is very competitive and depends on the availability of seats and the approval of the Ministry of Education. Do unmarried female students need mahram for student visa? Will the Saudi Embassy give me a student visa if I don't have a mahram? I have also heard that women are not allowed to leave the campus without being accompanied by one of their relatives or mehram. Will i be facing this kind of difficulty if i go there?
But I think Ummul Qara have a rule for international female students that her mehram is compulsory for her to be with..... And also its not for English speaker?
The dr. Needs to stress the requirement for mahram when attending these universities, especially those abroad, And girls should not postpone marraige for the sake of education. Its really dumb
