Weird Al is a legend. I've heard they have a term in the music industry called 'the Weird Al effect' because many of the original songs he parodies spike in popularity when he releases his version. They say that having Weird Al parody your song is a sign you've made it in the industry. There's even a story about Lady Gaga tracking him down after her agent mistakenly told him he couldn't parody one of her songs to tell him 'yes please, do it!' He even does voice acting for some of the cartoons from the creators of Phineas and Ferb. He's the voice of Milo in Milo Murphy's Law and guests as a crazy UFO enthusiast in Hamster and Gretel. I've heard he's a real humble and sincere guy IRL and he really seems to be from the interviews I've seen him do. I love Black Pegasus's reaction videos. He is considerate and fair and really tries to find the positives in the music and videos he critiques. From Weird Al to Rammstein, Kansas to the Pet Shop Boys, he really seems to have eclectic musical tastes and is willing to give any artist or song a chance across multiple genres.

Did you know that Eddie Van Halen wrote and performed the famous guitar solo in Michael Jackson's hit song "BEAT IT". He listened to what Michael already done and within a few minutes he completely rearranged the song so that his guitar solo would fit into the whole song better and he even performed with Michael Jackson at a few local concerts in Southern California. There is a video of it here on RUclips.
A fun fact to know when weird Al Yankevich came out in the late 80s, with his so-called parody music to artist that were famous and trending. He actually was hated by artist until fans were liking the parody videos so much and talking about it that they actually realized it was a compliment. To their videos iff he did a parody videeo. Though it took a good decadefor artzt like Mi eal Jackson and Madonna. tonot feel insuulted by his parodies. But Weird Al Yakovich is a very talented lyracist especially when it comes to taking an Artist song and making it funny. The next song you should consider reacting to is an artists who really did not like his parodies of her music, and that was, Madonna's "like a Virgin" is her song which he turned into "Like a Surgeon".
With Veteran's Day (Remembrance Day in Canada & other countries) Monday Nov 11 I suggest #1 "Five Finger Death Punch" - Wrong Side Of Heaven #2 "Dixie Chicks" - Travelling Soldier or #3 "Dire Straits" - Brothers In Arms . They are all excellent songs about war. Five Finger Death Punch song gives a lot information and stats. I myself was in Canadian military for 22 years ,was on standby a couple of time but never saw any action but knew some that were killed or injuried badly . The closet was being in Germany during Gulf War .

Great suggestion... I had a chance to see them live once at Stirling Castle in Scotland. They were supporting UB40 in the early days, and the people I was with had never heard of them. So, we went to a nearby bar instead until time for the hesdline act. I could hear them from the toilet, and they sounded great. The Eat It set looks exactly the same as MJs Beat It set because MJ green lit Weird Al's cover and approved him using the same studio where it was filmed.
He has two Star Wars songs, the first was "Yoda", a parody of The Kinks' "Lola" which actually came out in 1985, just after Empire Strikes Back. Then his other Star Wars song is "The Saga Begins" which is a Lyrical Adaptation of Don McLean's "American Pie" using the plot of The Phantom Menace and the fact that we already know Anakin's future via the original trilogy. They are both definitely worth a listen! Also, yeah Michael Jackson was actually a huge Weird Al fan and very honored by both "Eat It" and "Fat" so he allowed Weird Al to parody the videos and even gave him access to the same sets and directors to make it perfect.
10:24 "I'm sure he has an album out." >You could say that. He's been doing this since the '70s. Quoting Wikipedia: "...fourteen studio albums, two soundtrack albums, nine compilation albums, eleven video albums, two extended plays, two box sets, forty-six singles and fifty-four music videos."

The Pegasus family might enjoy D&D, especially when the girls are over I know a lot of families with little kids who play and the kids expand their math and creativity while playing so it’s fun and educational. Also helped my autistic cousin find ways to be more social when he struggled.
Fun fact The guy dancing in the background is 70's teen idol Donnie Osmond from The Osmond Brothers popular group from the 70's
That's a whole lotta teeth!
Absolutely Gorgeous Wifey
Congratulations to Both of You
and Your beautiful family
His Miss American Pie Parody all about the Star Wars movies is pretty crazy.
The song is called The Saga Begins
"you're tan and dirty" OMG i almost lost it laughing!!
Hi to your wife, it's great to see you on
Mrs Pegasus is a real beauty. You should put her on more regularly.
I Grew Up In The 90's And Weird Al💯🐐💯 Was Hilariously Humongous On MTV📺👀!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣!!! Back Then!!
I'm Definitely White And Nerdy!!!🎶🤣🤣💯
Okay, I'm white and nerdy and proud of it! LOL I'm also a Rockstar!!! 😁 Let Wifey know she's super sweet I don't think cancel nation will come after her. However, we know now why you go to the dirty thoughts first don't we? 😳 LOL You two are two peas in a pod thinking Weird Al would go dirty with Eat It!! ROFL 😂 Awe, you guys are great! I'm looking forward to that Star Wars reaction!!! ❤❤❤
Donny Osmond dancing in the background is show stealing
Can we give weird owls some props for his rapping skills
You two are adorable
nuQ'neH! Qa'pla ja'wHI! (
Wifey aka " Lady Pegasus" or "Golden Pegasus"
Donnie Osmond tells a story about telling his family that he was going to be in a weird Al video and they said absolutely not... It will be the end of your career.
I believe McLean has occasionally sang the Yoda lyrics in live shows just for the fun of it.
Why would he sing yoda
Jamiroquai is a group I know you will enjoy. A Funk-HipHop-Acid Jazz-Pop-Rap infusion. Virtual Insanity, Canned Heat, Too Young to Die....26 million album sales and a Grammy. Still playing and recording 38 years after their first release.
A massive regret of mine was not insisting we watch the excellent support act. 😢
Black Pegasus is white and nerdy! 😅😅
He has two Star Wars songs, Yoda (parody of Lola) and The Saga Begins (parody of American Pie). He like to do both as his concert encore.
Donnie Osmand FTW!! The whitest man in America!! lol
You know that Eddie Van Halen wrote and performed the famous guitar solo in J
Wierd Al actually has 14 albums out there for you to dive into
"Wifey" IMO should be called "Queen Bee"!!!! 👑🐝💜 She did a fantabulous job, and for what it's worth, she get my vote! Would love to see you two do more together! ☮️💜☮️💜☮️💜
The Eat It set looks exactly the same as MJs Beat It set because MJ green lit Weird Al's cover and approved him using the same studio where it was filmed.
I love your wife coming on and reacting with you I hope she does it more❤ also by weird Al I hope you will check out Jeopardy it is so hilarious
Your wife is beautiful, it was fun watching her react to Weird Al.
It's understandable if you confuse BDSM with D&D. Both of them generally would have a dungeon master, after all.
LOVE WIERD AL!!! He has 2 Star Wars songs, one from the 80s, and the other one was when the Phantom Menace came out
Great to see your wife.
10:24 "I'm sure he has an album out."
>You could say that. He's been doing this since the '70s. Quoting Wikipedia:
"...fourteen studio albums, two soundtrack albums, nine compilation albums, eleven video albums, two extended plays, two box sets, forty-six singles and fifty-four music videos."
I've seen him do this live a couple times. He straight up comes out on stage on the Segway. It's fantastic.
You took the words right out of my mouth when you brought up Revenge of the Nerds 😂😂
Yes MORE Weird Al!! The Star Wars song y’all were talking about is “The Saga Begins” which is a cover of Don McLeans “American Pie”. “Smells Like Nirvana” is great too!
Dude and dude’s wife… this was so fun to watch. I’ve watched so many of your reactions. Different guests different music. Of course I found you because of Ren. Yes, I’m a RENagade. But I’m also 39 and grew up on weird Al. Everybody my age loved him at summer camp down at the recreational center lol. You two are great together and you should definitely feature her more on your channel.
Weird Al has 13 studio albums, several of which have gone Platinum
2 star wars songs. lol /// "Lola" stylized as "Yoda" /// and "American Pie" otherly named "The Saga Begins"
The Saga Begins (it's about episode 1).
She is adorable. We need to see more of your wife.
You two should have a movie reaction channel. 😀
Reactors ALWAYS overlook Star Wars Kid with the light saber. He was an OG back in 05’
I know! They recognize him even less than Donnie! And Seth Green! Lol
You absolutely have to do Weird Al's "It's All About My Pentiums"!....It's sooo good!
Keep her coming on the channel. She cracks me up and the interaction is so genuine. Love all the reactions though
Love to see you with the wifey❤️❤️❤️. Weird Al is weird 🤣🤣🤣. Blessings you two❤️❤️❤️ Gmaw👵🏼
I love how you always do your entry! I sometimes sing your jingle lol-- and people look weird at me- it is part of your channel, Please do not change.
Bring Wifey back, more. Also, his name is pronounced Yank-O-Vic, not Vitch. Weird Al has many Albums, and is one of the few artists in existence to have won at least one Grammy Award for each decade for 4 decades straight (80's 90s, 00's, 10's.)
Great reactions. I enjoy the range of approaches you take; sometimes it's about the performance, sometimes it's about the cultural significance, and sometimes it's just the stuff that makes you laugh.
Love your channel. I know you are and/or were into Supertramp. Loved your reaction on "The Logical Song".
Now, for over 4 decades I am totally blown away by the spiritual content and atmosphere of the live version of Supertramp's "Hide In your Shell" from 'Live at Paris' (1979/1980). Especially when the song hits the 4'20'' time-stamp or around that.
A MUST check out for you I think. I think you can also be blown away by that.....
You should check out 'Trapped in the Drive thru' , 'Word Crimes ', Livin' with a hernia', 'Foil', and so many more from Weird Al
This feels like a cancel culture free zone.
Wait…is weird al offensive?
@@christopherblue2004 He would be to Snowflakes. Especially that never grew up with stuff like this. Keep in mind that cancel culture goes after comedians.
@@christopherblue2004 He would be to Snowflakes. Especially that never grew up with stuff like this. Keep in mind that cancel culture goes after comedians.
@@mimikannisto4418 i know, but he’s like the least offensive guy ever.
@@christopherblue2004 UHF is the funniest clean comedy movie ever.
in the Eat It Video, Michel Jackson Personally worked with Weird Al in the chorography which is why it looks so good
"Another One Rides the Bus", where it all started.
"Rice, Rice, Baby"
"I Love Rocky Road"
Keep this train rolling!!
that's why we love Alfred. he's a parody genius, and a master of lyrics
Saga is worth it!! Looking forward to it!
