I love these short intervals. When I was a kid, we called them "wind sprints", now those in my running club call them "burst intervals" ( as opposed to fartleks or strides, which are less organized). Thanks for this video on "getting comfortable with being uncomfortable."
Coach Nate here, and great question! We recommend repeating the 30 sec intervals once per week for 2-3 weeks. Then move to the 60 sec intervals for 2-3 weeks, and then finally move to the 90 second intervals for another 2-3 weeks. Also, when in doubt you could start with 5-7 repeats and then move up to 10 repeats over that 2-3 week interval too!
