I went to PCC at the Cascade campus for 2 years. I would have mentioned PCC Cascade even though it’s in Albina, since I bet you have a lot of prospective students checked out these your videos! PCC is one of the biggest and most funded community colleges in the country and their Cascade campus is arguably the best one (some people might say Sylvania because of how beautiful it is, but that one doesn’t have the sense of college community and is in Beaverton). Alberta is one of my favorite districts in Portland. I also like Albina a lot. I feel like they’re 2 of the districts where you can actually feel at least a bit of diversity, due to the historical context of those areas. But they’re still nice areas with great food and parks and such. I miss it.
My wife and I are moving back to the PNW next year, potentially relocating to Portland area. We’re both originally from WA, but have always loved Oregon. My wife is a big runner, we have dogs, and we aren’t afraid of older homes - what neighborhoods would be a good fit?
Pretty much anywhere on the east side! And it depends on price range but most of the NE and SE are pretty flat (except around Mt Tabor) so great for running. Just saw your other comment that you're staying near Nob Hill, that could be a good option as well. While you're here, try to check out Sellwood, Alberta District, or go see Montavilla as well if you want a more low key neighborhood feel. Feel free to call or text me with any more questions while you're in town. 🙌 503-583-2081
Yes many parks in Portland have designated off leash areas where its ok to unleash your dogs but they a aren't actually fenced in so you gotta trust your dog. Laurelhust park, and Sellwood Riverfront park are like that too. 🐕👍 Cheers and thanks for watching!

I agree, Dunthorpe is VERY nice! Thanks for watching.
Do you have rental properties in the Alberta Arts District?
Hello and thanks for watching! I am focused on real estate sales so unfortunately I don't have any rentals! Cheers.
