    • @Nomieghirl
      @Nomieghirl 7 лет назад +5

      +Cyber Mermaid Yes, unfortunately the destructive policies of 1980's Thatcherism are back in fashion again. The old "I'm alright, Jack" rhetoric is making people see cruelty, bigotry and hate as somehow acceptable! 😞

    • @StMichael7
      @StMichael7 7 лет назад +1

      Nomie Maxwell so you believe that allowing mothers to murder their own infants by aborting them is compassionate. Wow what twisted logic you have. 550 million abortions have been committed in the United States since 1973. It's the largest genocide in world history. Thats is what liberal progressive democrats socialist believe in. It's sick and Adolfo Hitler would've been happy to be your friend.

    • @Nomieghirl
      @Nomieghirl 7 лет назад +5

      edgar martinez I think you are beyond confused!?! 😕 The comment I was replying to was the top one by Cyber Mermaid, quoting Morrissey's lyrics which refer to the British YTS (youth employment schemes) of the 1980's...Nothing whatsoever to do with abortions! But hey, I'm sure you've got me, Morrissey, politics & ethics all figured out, especially if your impeccable judgement on the meaning of this songs lyrics and my comment are anything to go by! I had better not give my not so rigidly black & white opinion on abortions, as I don't think I have the wealth of experience you seem to have on the subject, but I'm sure you're also THE scholarly expert on women's reproductive rights here too, what with you being a 'man'!

    • @StMichael7
      @StMichael7 7 лет назад

      Nomie Maxwell using your logic we should only ask women for medical advice instead of male doctors because only a female knows about a woman's body. I guess men should not even bother to major in the medical field. Even a 3rd grader knows that's is not a very intelligent thing to say 😂. It's very bizarre that you use the word cruelty when describing Thatchers policies and yet I'm sure you believe in truly real cruel things like the murder of baby's in the name of women's rights or women's in power meant. Really?? The irony and hypocrisy is unbelievable

If you choose to eat dead animals and condone cruelty and suffering, that's your choice. The Smiths mean a lot more to me than Morrissey's solo stuff because I saw them before the U.S. took any interest. The bloke has cancer now, and sings about Californian street gangs, Hector from Salford? Just leave it mate, humans are omnivorous because of our dental structure, but we still can decide on whether or not to eat meat.

    I'm surprised the woman pasting up the posters wore a Smiths T... I thought Morrissey was trying to avoid being in the shadow of The Smiths.... Our Morrissey shows this RARELY!!!! His solo career is incredible too is the only explanation. Thank goodness we had at least ONE ingenius writer/performer in our generation.

      Not in the first two years since the split. In fact he played the famous Wolverhampton gig with Rourke, Joyce and Gannon. Free entry for those wearing a Smiths t-shirt so... enough said.

    Is this not classed as a Smiths track, seems as Andy and Mike are playing on it? Forgive me if this is a silly question - just curious

      The Smiths aren't The Smiths without Johnny Marr...

      You could say that, I think Craig Gannon is on Guitar too (who played with The Smiths for a year)
      But i think legally he was solo at this time so they'd be session players?

      ***** Yep. Rourke baseline are just so good. Complementing Johnny Marr so well too. Underestimated bass player.
