After the murder of Shimla taxi driver by tourists from Punjab and the subsequent vandalism of vehicles in Himachal, Himachal vehicles are being stopped in Punjab as well. This is causing problems to both the taxi drivers as well as the tourists. After these incidents, the business of Himachal is also getting affected. In this matter, the people of Shimla Taxi Union met Panchayati Raj Minister Aniruddh Singh and demanded to resolve the dispute. Taxi drivers say that all the taxi operators are bearing the brunt of the mistakes of some people. They want that the mutual brotherhood between the two states should remain. Taxi operators of both the states should maintain patience.
