  • A “relatively non-technical” overview (Updated May 2024!) of the technical details underlying common forms of DNA testing currently used in genetic genealogy: DNA Microarrays, Sanger Sequencing, and Next-Generation Sequencing, plus some upcoming technologies that we'll probably see in the next few years like nanopore and SMRT.
