I immediately bought this. Ive been wanting to attempt nut and bolting and this is a genius tool. Ive done several threaded shaft retros and this will help me take the next step.
Great tool , as many retrofits I have done over the years never thought to make a jig . Definitely interested in buying one . I could machine one , but I know myself and with over engineer it and make it a few week project .
You would have to put one on both sides. The putty secures the bolt to the housing, a nut would not. The bolt could break free and the projector could slide back
I have a question. I bought this, but I’m a little confused on how I’m supposed to level the projector? As in up and down really, especially if I’m doing this on a client’s headlight and I don’t have access to the car to try to level them.
The back plate is designed to fit in the notch on the lights which should get you 95% level. You will still need to adjust the last 5% manually but that is far better than any other options retrofitters had. I wish it could be a 100% fool proof process but im afraid it will never be that simple.

It has changed my pricing on nut and bolt builds. So much easier than before.

@@NextLevelNeo I appreciate the reply!
Could you put a small nut on the back to secure it without needing to use the quik stick?

@@NextLevelNeo makes sense
@NextLevelNeo wouldn't ca glue with activator or a uv glue work without the wait of cure time.
